Took over a hour to get the food. No fault of the server, but to not be kindly made aware of the delay was unacceptable. We didn’t even see a manager until after food arrived and they said they were taking care of the meal- the least they could have done as we were ready to pay what we had eaten (apps) and head home.

We did a take out order at Danville VA, of 6 grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, Fries, and Seasoned Vegetables, and bread. We got home and we didn’t have the Seasoned Vegetables nor bread. We called OB and they told us that when you order Seasoned Vegetables you get Broccoli because it wasn't offered anymore, but when we called to placed the order a different lady said Vegetables or Broccoli. The lady told my wife when she called to tell the that the order was incorrect she said to come and get the bread and she would give us a credit on our next order. Went back 40 miles round trip and all they gave us was bread. Every time.we go there it's something wrong. The date we made this order was on 7/28/2025, order # 155, at 6:11 PM, table # 933. Every time we go something is wrong.

Our server tonight, Lamar (Peanut), was an amazing server and person. We didn't have to ask for anything, he was on top of it! The food was made to perfection and we enjoyed the friendly smiles from all employees. If we are around town again, we would totally come back!! Thank you Lamar!!

It is a hit or miss. Sometimes we go and it's very good then other times, food is cold, too salty, flavorless, or wrong. 3/15/25Waitress we had was great. She remembered the orders and drinks of party of 10. Most of us got wither ribeye or sirloin and either rare to medium rare or well done and the other girl that brought out the food just put the food on table wherever she wanted. We asked what steak or what temp was on plate she said "it's a steak" very rudely. We just moved plates round until we got right ones. Steak and chicken were extremely salty today. Blooming Onion dip was alittle hotter/spicy than usually but still good.

I had a steak cook medium it was right color but had sat and gotten cold they gladly took it back and left me with my potato and broccoli while they cooked another steak and brought it out it was really good and it came with another potato and broccoli with cheese super nice people definitely will be back
It's been years since I've eaten at Outback, but went in impulsively tonight with my daughter for supper. The atmosphere was not good, literally and figuratively. The restaurant was pretty full, but the vibes were weirdly flat and dead, and the air was oddly damp and warm.
Service was prompt and friendly, but not super attentive. We each had a drink refill (that we didn't have to ask for), one mid-meal check to see that the food was ok, and an inquiry about the flavor for the included cheesecake I got with my combo thing. The service was the best part.
I ordered the chopped salad for an upcharge that came sans chop, our fries tasted quite good but were limp and kinda soggy, and my sirloin, while cooked to a solid medium rare as requested, had a strip of gristle-ly silver skin running through it. My daughter enjoyed her bloomin' onion fried chicken. The chocolate cheesecake was not bad.
Last 3xs we gone to this restaurant the food hasn't been good or service was poor. If i am spending over 100 $ I expected my food to at least be warm and what I ordered. Used to love to go here not sure what happened to this restaurant in Danville Virginia. ( poor management)
