i’ve always gone here since i was little and i still always ask to come here when we visit!! i love how kind everyone is and how amazing the food is! its the best and i love the brownies and cookies!! this is my number one place to recommend in all of virginia, i love the things they have on the walls too and the ice cream and gumball machines. the food is going to blow your mind! you’ll never wanna leave!!

First of all I’m new to Danville. This place was recommended by a Danvillian. As a person of color I was MORTIFIED to see waitresses clearing a table that was patronized by people of color. They were picking up dishes and napkins with 2 fingers, handling everything as if the items were toxic. I promptly got up and left. I Refuse to eat or tolerate this nonsense !!! Small town 60 years behind times.

To be fair, I have not eaten here yet, but I did notice on the menu recently posted here by a customer, it has a "hamburger special" (hamburger, fries and large drink) priced @ $9.38. If you were to purchase these A la carte it comes to $9.19. So tell me what makes the hamburger special "Special"??

If you are looking for inexpensive good food, then this is the place. Nothing fancy, sandwiches are served wrapped in paper (no plates). Possibly the best onion rings that I've ever had. Sometimes they get really busy, and note that it's "seat yourself".
