Delicious baked fish special with 2 sides (mac n cheese & green beans were my choices) Everything was perfectly seasoned, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the signs around the counter were fun to read while I waited for my order. I'll be back!

The food is amazing every time I have ordered. However...I don't know when it is open! The hours posted aren't consistent, the days the sign says they are open, they aren't. Would like to support this black owned business more if the hours were valid.

The Fish!!!When I say the fish is the bomb I do mean it explodes in your mouth with flavor. The wifey and I love it. It's always cooked to order hot out the grease. If you want a great meal that's hot and tasty then I highly recommend Soul Food Express!

My experience on Nov. 4th wasn't a good one, I called to leave a message about my order that my fish was over cooked and very thin that it was just a crispy shell. They said leave a message and my call would be returned but no one called me back, I shouldn't have to pay for service like that,I have gotten food there before and it was no problem with it.
Usually love their food, customer was not so great tonight. Called 20 minutes straight with no answer, arrived at the location 15 minutes before close and was told I could not be serviced. Very disappointing.

Just stopped for lunch. I had the fish plate which was unbelievable! Melted in my mouth. Hubs had the burger and said it was one of his favorites. Great local spot. Friendly staff. Cant wait to come back.
