This place never disappoints me. Ordered the ribeye rare Pittsburg style and it was as perfect! This is a hard thing to do. Also great menu selections. I live nearby so this is a go to for me.

Sat outside and we enjoyed the wonderful Bloody Mary and margarita on a Sunday afternoon! The steamed shrimp appetizer was great! Ahhh, what an afternoon! The afternoon continued on with a top notch Cuban and an excellent grilled bacon cheeseburger. What a wonderful afternoon at the Paladin. For those who have ever eaten in Flint Hill, VA the Bull now resides at the Paladin. Follow the bull!

We've been to Paladin a few times and always enjoyed the experience. This past Sunday, we showed up at opening and I ordered a salad that had pulled chicken. The portions were huge and a few bites in, I got an ugly piece of gristle. OK, it happens. A few bites later, another piece of gristle. So now I'm getting a bit embarrassed at having to pull food out of my mouth while I'm chewing. Another bite or two in and this time, it's a piece of bone. And then another. The server came by and was appropriately concerned when I told her what happened. She offered me another salad or asked if there was anything else I wanted to order. At this point, I just wanted to go home. There was no offer to comp the meal and no manager came over. I'm being kind with the three star review as we do like this place.

My friends wanted to take me out for bingo and dinner. We arrived too late for bingo but Holly was an outstanding waitress! The appetizer of Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls was superb as was my chicken Alfredo? Or so I thought? While very delicious, I couldn't eat it all so took the rest home. I had a late-night snack and while eating, I choked on a chicken bone! Needless to say, I am not happy about that at all. Thankfully my friend helped me dislodge it as I was choking and could have been dead! No, I doubt I will NOT be coming back. We spent a lot there and tipped her very well only to almost choke to death eating leftovers. I use to work at restaurants and catering and in 30+ years of working, I never once did we have an issue with that kind of situation. This could have been a very serious problem and more careful food preparation could have been avoided. THEIR RESPONSE "Yikes, so sorry to hear about that, but glad you are ok, thanks to you friend. The nature of chicken (and fish) is that there are bones, and despite our best efforts, one can slip through, especially in the pulled chicken entrees. We’ll let Holly know of her good service, and hope you will come back soon and try our burgers (no bones). The kitchen has been alerted to be more careful. See you soon." A legitimate restaurant would have comped the check or offered something other than an apology.

Been there twice, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Fun foods, servers with personality, fair prices. Great dining space - very roomy.

We went here yesterday after closing on my mom’s house in Front Royal. Sat at the bar and ordered crab fritters and Paladin burgers and a few cold beers. All food, drinks, and service was excellent. Especially loved the OBH Caramel Macchiato Coffee Stout. Will need to find this now that we’re back home

Excellent food quality on a variety of dishes we’ve eaten. Nice outdoor seating with good shade in the late afternoon/evening.

Been a handful of times. My new favorite place! Sad news its only open a few days a week, and i crave it everyday! Had a pizza and watermelon margaritas this time. Love the big pretzel appetizer. The ambience with live entertainment was awesome! If there is one bummer; my ribeye once was really fatty. But yummy! See not much to complain about. Oh my wait staff is friendly & helpful!!

.. We needed a good dinner and chose this place nearby from the reviews. Great choice! We arrived at 5pm and it was a good thing. The lot was overflowing an hour later, which is the only negative I could find here-small lot for such a popular place. The bar with plenty of high tops and a few hidden booths greeted us. We were seated in a booth in the back, a cozy nook with curtains that we steeped up into to watch the world go by outside our confines. I think these small dining nooks may seat up to 6 with bench seating on 3 sides. Some very smart person added a double outlet with 2 USB ports at the back of the booth making this a great business meeting place. I could envision folks working together at noon, busily, yet privately, conducting a meeting over computers and cell phones. That's a true convenience for today's working folk. Ah, but is the food worth it? Yes! I had an amazing bourbon and Coke meatloaf, served with balsamic and bacon Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. My DH had delicious fries and a cheeseburger. Our drinks were never left empty by our delightful server, and we were served quickly and efficiently, yet at no time did we feel pushed out to turn the table. The rooms filled around us, obviously a popular, happy hour meeting place. Loved the Paladin and hope to return the next time we pass through.

Dinner after training. Work team all went to dinner. Very clean and quiet atmosphere even though the restaurant was fairly busy. Plenty of choices both in appetizers and main course. Varied choices of beer. Friendly and attentive staff.

Great service from Amber. Food was served promptly and fish tacos and fried green tomatoes were great. Loved the decor; especially the private booths. Can’t wait to go back!

Now they even have the craft beers listed on a black board... good good. Serve Satan's Ponyu from C'ville South Street Grill. Smooth amber ale. Wife says Brunswick Stew is delish and filling. The burgers cooked to request. Steak cheese sandwich was ok. Steak part was was real tasty. Bar is a nice set up. Alcove booths along the central wall are kinda cool.
