Great place with an atmosphere for yesteryear.
Over the top food flavor. Had the oysters, crab cakes, fried green tomatoes, sea bass . If you’re looking for truly a quality meal with wonderful service it’s a must. Not cheep , but you get what you pay for. Will drive 2 hours to eat here again. Owner is friendly and atmosphere is wonderful.
This establishment is a hidden gem. We decided to opt for a different restaurant after the casino and this place did not disappoint in any area. The calamari app was tender and delicious. The lump crab cakes were chock full of lump crab meat. Truly a highlight. The filet was prepared to the perfect temperature and doneness. The service and atmosphere are over the top wonderful. We return in three weeks for a family celebration. So looking forward to additional deliciousness and professionalism. Five stars baby!! But don’t take my word for it. Make a reservation!!
I ordered the Cesar salad and my fiance ordered the pan-seared salmon, which he enjoyed 😋.
Johnny always delivers a quality experience. We love Schoolfield Restaurant!
Lovely little gem on Main St in Danville. The food, staff, and ambience were all perfection ❤️
Amazing vibes and delicious food❤️
Amazing 5*****
We were visiting my daughter about two years ago. We were sitting in the booth by the door my sister and I. I was debating about the key lime pie. I sparked a conversation with a gentleman at the bar. It was the owner and he was a delightful person. He explained that my steak was cut as ordered. This means it’s cut off the chunk of meat when ordered. OMG the steak was delicious. No salt or pepper needed for any part of our meal. The potatoes are heavenly. Well after dinner I was given a slice of key lime pie by the owner. It was delicious. I told everyone in Florida for two years how I couldn’t wait to go back. I recently did with my family. It did not disappoint we all had excellent food and service. Oh the Chilean sea bass was superb. I know this is a long review but it needs to be said. This place is 10 out of 10 !! We moved here now we will be regulars.
Posting their political bias is off-putting. Looks like they deleted the posts, but lost several page likes in the meantime. Won’t be on my dinner list.

Last night, we had a table of 10 for New Year’s Eve. The four-course meal was scrumptious -everything cooked to perfection. Katie, our favorite server, kept the libations flowing and made sure our orders were correct and came out together. Johnny, the owner, made our night by turning on the disco lights, smoke machine, and disco music. We were singing, laughing, and dancing. A fabulous time was had by all. Thank you again, Johnny!
Maybe we just hit them on a bad night but food didn’t taste homemade and had to send steak back because it wasn’t cooked to correct temperature and even when it came back out is wasn’t right. We had someone highly recommend this place but we weren’t impressed.
Way, way overrated, overpriced, underwhelming. The food is mediocre, especially the crab cakes that are supposed to be amazing. They have too few servers. The atmosphere was great though. Save your money. Go to Golden Leaf instead.

Hidden gem is an understatement. The atmosphere, music (40’s music) and food made us feel like we were in the Notebook. We loved this restaurant and our server Kyle, was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend the crab cakes, INCREDIBLE! My husband and I will be coming back.

The food and service was TOP TIER! John was our waiter and he was very attentive and pleasant. The manager came out and asked how was everything and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
