On our way to Winchester to see Tracy Byrd concert, we made a fantastic discovery - this wonderful winery. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we had a great time sampling five different wines. My personal favorite was Seven Oaks, and I was impressed by the fact that all the red wines were neither too sweet nor too dry. Very nice woodland setting with attractive seating both inside and out. I especially liked the petit verdot. The co-owner's art is both beautiful and unique; had to control my desire to acquire it all! The service is also superb. Highly recommend.
We visited Arterra Winery for the first time last weekend based on a recommendation from our VRBO host and are so glad we did. The building is beautiful, the people were lovely, and the wines were excellent. My husband and I both did a tasting where we could pick any 5 wines on the menu (not limited to just reds or just whites), and we really enjoyed each one.
