Highly recommend! Nick is friendly and professional. He communicates well for easy drop off and pickup. We needed to process 12 pigs within a short time frame, Nick was up for the challenge and did a great job! The packaging is clean and his cuts are beautiful and tasty! We will definitely think of him for future farm processing.

I started taking my deer to Nick last year and I have been overly pleased with the meat I get. The only place I know that you take your deer and you are getting your deer back. Other places through a bunch of deer into the grinder and you don’t know if you’re getting your deer or someone else’s deer back. Nick is awesome to work with and I recommend everyone I know to use him. Great quality and great business.

I've debated on writing a review due to all the previous 5 star reviews, but our experience with Central Virginia Custom Meats has been an absolute nightmare. We purchased 1/2 a cow from a local farmer who previously supplied us with beef for years and have had no complaints whatsoever. With Central Virginia Custom Meats, not only did it take several weeks longer than promised, we were not supplied with the amount of beef that was expected from similar weight cattle that were previously processed at another local processor. The fat content of the burger was excessive and the cut meat was almost inedible due to the toughness. This is not the type of meat quality that was promised or expected. Unfortunately, all of this beef will be fed to our dogs or thrown out, due to the quality of it.

I am all for recommending local businesses but do not recommend this company.

Super impressed with Nick and his work. The summer sausage is some of the best I've ever had. The bacon deer burger we definitely enjoy, we eat it all year long. Y'all definitely need to check him out, he has a wonderful operation going. I'll take all my deer to him for sure!!!!
