The Mercantile was incredibly charming. The little market/restaurant combo was unlike anything I have seen before.
My friends live in the area and decided to take us for breakfast. We were greeted with classic southern hospitality as soon as we walked in. Our server Britney was outstanding! She was on point the entire meal and just so darn sweet.

Great Sunday brunch with biscuits and gravy, plus loads of bacon. And go for the lunch too, and don't forget dessert! Adding our latest visit: we went for an excellent Saturday brunch, which is still excellent. Bacon and cathead biscuits are the best, and Jeanette was an attentive server. And we learned they are open for dinner on select nights too, so a trip back is on our minds. They also have a coffee bar inside the restaurant if you want a quick stop off I-81.
