Verona's Pizzeria & Italian

Tried this place 2 evenings in a row. Very authentic Italian food. The Owner is a super nice person to deal with and does most of the work Himself. This place should be packed every lunch hr and dinner time. We will return!

Hubby had a chicken calzone and I had a chicken parm sub. Both were terrible. The calzone was greasy and the sub was a chicken tender (probably frozen) with terrible sauce. I would never go back.
I don’t know how it got a 4.3 rating.

We absolutely loved everything!

We ordered tortellini, fries, Philly cheese steak, and pepperoni and cheese calzone. Everything was delicious and the waitress, who I assume is the owner was so nice! We will definitely be back.

The building itself is horrible, rundown, dark and dirty. Just look in tje bathroom when you walk in. Old Mexican restaurant.
Service is not welcoming. At all.
I saw a roach on the floor and left without my food
The person running the register told me the only reason came in was to complain. What?!
No...i complained because i saw a dam roach run under your dirty table. 🤣

We were passing through the area and needed some food. I was recommended the calzone, very delicious! And the sauce is amazing. The medium is a very generous size and good for the price, and now I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

We set out for lunch at the Merc the Sunday before Christmas and we couldn’t even get in the parking lot. Instead of heading back home we decided to drive a little further north and see what we could find. Thanks to TripAdvisor we found Veronas and some really delicious lasagna. Appears to be an Italian family run restaurant. Great service and a variety of menu items from sandwiches, pizza and Italian pasta choices. Will be going again soon.

I loved stepping into this restaurant. Authentic and beautiful atmosphere. My husband ordered the Fettuccine and I the Lasagna. We had to share, they were both delicious. Loved it.

Verona’s Pizzeria & Italian in Dublin, VA is one of our absolute favorite places to eat! The food is always incredible, fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The waitress is always polite, respectful, and makes us feel so welcome every time we visit. It’s the little things that make a big difference here, from the friendly service to the cozy atmosphere. They always have great music playing, which makes the whole dining experience even better. And I have to say, they have the best French fries I’ve ever had from any restaurant, perfectly crispy and perfectly seasoned! My husband and I always have an amazing time here. Highly recommend Verona’s to anyone looking for a delicious meal, friendly faces, and a great vibe!
