Absolutely Amazing Experience!
Benihana never disappoints! The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The hibachi chef put on such a fun and entertaining show. The food was cooked perfectly !!! You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. it’s a good experience! The great food, lively atmosphere, and skilled chefs made this visit amazing. Love the experience here! There are quite a few deals to choose from! It is fun to watch the chef doing tricks while cooking our delicious meal. Our server was polite and attentive. Had an issue with a coupon but hopefully it will be fixed so we can go again soon!

The manager, Adrian, is a true professional. Coordinating a big group can be a nightmare, but Aidrian handled it with seamless grace. He was attentive, frequently checking in to ensure every detail was perfect, and his presence clearly sets the tone for the entire staff. Our server was equally fantastic—prompt, and friendly. The entire team worked in perfect harmony to make us feel like valued guests.
It's immaculately clean, with a layout that provides plenty of room. We never felt crammed in or on top of other tables, which allowed for an intimate and comfortable setting where we could actually enjoy our conversation. And a huge plus—there was an abundance of parking, a rare and welcome convenience! We started with shrimp tempura. So many places overdo it with a heavy, gritty batter, but here it was perfectly light, crispy, and allowed the sweet, succulent shrimp to be the star. It was, without a doubt, my favorite appetizer and set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The hibachi chef was incredibly entertaining and skilled.

Dined at Benihana in Dulles with a large group of friends last night. Had an amazing dining experience. Customer service was top-notch and Adrian, the manager, spoiled us rotten. The Shrimp Tempura, lobster, and passion fruit lemonade was delicious!

Felt EXTREMELY rushed from the moment we walked in, even though the restaurant was almost EMPTY! Was asked 3 times if he could take our order and had not even looked at menu yet. I explained we had not been there in at least 20 years and we would need a minute, and he kept coming back every 2 minutes—SO annoying! Had to ASK for my green tea after ate appetizer, and had to ASK for my rice! The man setting table to our left could NOT have been louder or disturbing clanking dishes around!!! The man preparing our food flipped the spatula so hard, it shot off the grill onto the table almost in my lap!! The onion volcano he lit was too much — the fire came dangerously close to me even though I tipped my chair backwards to get away from it! I was asked if I wanted the check, and I had to ask at that point if my husband got any dessert for his birthday!!!! Won't return!

Even though the restaurant was really busy that night, Edwin took amazing care of us. You could tell he was juggling a lot, but he never made us feel rushed or overlooked. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, energetic, and made sure our large party of 9 people had everything we needed. It was a special occasion, and Edwin went above and beyond to keep the vibe fun and celebratory. He timed everything perfectly, coordinated with the chef seamlessly, and never let a glass stay empty. A big highlight of the night was the Benihana photo such a great memory to take home. Edwin made sure everyone was in it and helped organize us for the perfect shot. Those little touches really made the experience feel personalized. And let’s talk food. Edwin recommended the American Ribeye, and ufff. that was hands down one of the best things we’ve ever tried there.
