I am beyond disgusted with Panera’s customer service. Today, while home sick with COVID, I placed a delivery order because I couldn’t go anywhere and desperately wanted chicken noodle soup — the one thing that usually helps me when I’m sick. Instead of my order, a completely different bag with someone else’s name showed up. Mistakes happen, sure. But what happened next is unacceptable.
When I contacted Panera, their “solution” was either a credit to my Panera account (which forces me to spend more money with them after they already messed up) or wait 30 DAYS for a refund. Excuse me? Thirty days for money I paid for food I never even received? That’s absolutely ridiculous. This isn’t just poor service, it’s exploitative.
Panera, you’re seriously telling a sick customer, who ordered because they had no other option, that their only choices are to be trapped into ordering from you again or sit around for a month waiting for their money back? This is the opposite of customer care. If anything, you’ve made an already miserable situation worse.
I will not be ordering from Panera again and I’ll make sure everyone I know is aware of how shamefully you treat your customers when you screw up. Fix your policies, because this is an absolute disgrace.

Every 6 months or so, I try them again to see if they improved. They have not. This is just overpriced cafeteria food with lazy staff. Once again, we asked for no onions and they made the sandwich with onions. They tried to scrape them off but clearly didn’t succeed.

Not nearly as Fast as Pike 7 Plaza in Tysons Corner. Had to wait almost 3 mins to be attended. Waited almost 10 mins for coffee. Over al, I was there almost 20 mins just for 2 coffees and 5 Sándwiches. By the time I got home? My food was cold. Sad ;(

I’ve been coming to Panera Bread for years and regularly ordering the French onion soup and sometimes the Broccoli Cheddar for my son, not knowing that they both contain beef/Chicken broth—which, as a Muslim, I am not supposed to consume since it’s not considered halal. Today, while ordering it for myself and my son, Mr. Drake Gold kindly informed me about this and asked if it was okay. I truly appreciated the thoughtfulness and care shown. It’s rare to encounter such attentiveness and respect for customers’ dietary needs. My soup was replaced with a vegetarian one which I truly appreciated. A big thank you to this wonderful guy for going the extra mile—it really means a lot to me and to my family! I really hope that Panera Bread will consider offering halal options in the near future. Thanks again, Mr. Drake Gold!

The Duet Tomato Soup & Tuna Fish Salad Sandwich is a great delicious bargain, just one of many. The cheerful, welcoming employees at the ordering desk & who prepare the food always make my day.

When I arrived, not one person greeted me. The Manager was on the floor, doing what I could not tell, but he couldn't be bothered with speaking or letting me know someone would be right with me after standing at the register w/ no one to take my order for about 3 minutes. When I tried to order the Bagel Asiago Steak Sandwich that is only available for a limited time, they were out of Asiago and Everything Bagel only option available was Sesame. I explained to the young lady taking my order, I do not eat Sesame so she went to ask her Manager if I can get a different type of bread and he denied it. If it were not for my Wife being sick, they would not have gotten by business at all. The dining room is not full, nor are they busy but, the dining room tables are dirty. I would like to call out the young lady was both kind and apologetic. The young man making the orders was efficient and courteous.

I have frequent here many times and which can be a hit or miss. My most recent visit was awesome. Because I made a mistake when ordering my food online and called to see if my order could be “fixed”, the manager was so nice and offered to compensate me anyway even though I made a mistake. I didn’t get his name, but appreciated the kind gesture. Even the customer service guy at the register was very nice and helpful.
Panera us always good for their salads, soups, and sandwiches. last night I came here for a late dinner, they were very busy and occupied but one of the workers saw me waiting for my food and was easily able to accommodate me quickly and efficiently. Thanks to that worker, I could enjoy my food without waiting for another second of starvation. 😀

i absolutely love this panera! it’s conveniently close to my house, so it’s been my go-to for the last 6 years. panera consistently offers delicious, expertly-prepared meals that never disappoint. the staff at this location is always friendly and attentive. the workers ALWAYS go out of their way to help!
