This was my first visit here. It was not easy locating the country club. Food was good and offered a good variety at a reasonable price.

This is my first time at this restaurant, great staff and customer services. The food was not too bad, I had a Cobb Salad, it was well prepared.

I used to love going there since I live in the subdivision but the service and food has gone down hill drastically! They have constant staff turnovers and the servers are clueless about the menu and the specials. The cushions on the seats are either ripped or dirty, tables need to be wiped off and you have to ask for silverware. The food is more miss than hits and it is pricey for the amount of food you get. I see the staff walking around just talking, I have to ask for refills 90% of the time and they don't even greet you when they come to the table. I've had couple of waitresses there I really liked but they are all gone. (I wonder why?). The manager is super rude and some of the servers are rude too. I really wanted to love this place but sadly I will not be going back.

The Tidewater Grill is open to the public daily for lunch and early dinner. It is located in the Potomac Shores golf club. There is indoor and outdoor dining. Beautiful sunset views every evening. Good food. Chef Paul does a great job.

Needs improvement. A lot of improvement. Let's start with the fact that the place is 25% full on Sunday morning at 1100. This is DC, so that is telling. Second, food mess on table no properly wiped up, stains and food on chair cushions. Then, the bartender enters through the side door and puts on her deodorant in front of everyone in the restaurant. Service was okay. One entree okay, the other cold. Will not be back here until there is an overhaul of some sort and we see the ratings come up.

Smaller than I thought it would be. The service was nice. Wngs were good, but I didn't like the jerk. They have theme dinners every Friday for only $20 all you can eat.

We were unable to eat here due to the restaurant being closed for a wedding, despite having our reservation accepted on OpenTable. There were no signs or and no notifications. One of the employees even walked past us several time before we were told they were closed. Pretty frustrating experience.

I would give negative stars if it was allowed. I made reservations twice and each time there were events scheduled that no one told us about. We were left looking elsewhere to eat with our guests. Very poor and unprofessional management and I will never attempt to visit this establishment again. I was told that management called everyone with reservations to inform them. REALLY!!!! Just unacceptable!

Although I have lived in the area for over 40 years, I hadn't been aware of or been to the Tidewater Grill. It turned out to be a hidden gem. The Grill's ambience and decor are spacious, traditional golf club dining, and relaxed. We elected to order ala carte from a limited menu. Each meal was delicious. I recommend the catfish dippers as an appetizer. I had the P'Shores burger where medium rare turned out to be just that and very flavorful. The cajun penne pasta and grilled chicken alfredo were also a hit. We had no room for dessert. Pricing is inexpensive and a great value for the meals.

The manager Kat was the rudest, most uncoordinated, manager that I have just about ever seen! She was so rude to her employees, and even made one of the servers cry in front of my family and other customers!!! Our servers name was Allison and she was fantastic. But, the rest of the restaurant and food FCKING SUCKED! I do not recommend!!!!!
