One of the oldest wineries in Virginia. Wine has been produced by Michael Shaps since 2018 so you know it's gonna be good. This spot is much quieter than other locations in this area of the Shenandoah Valley (we were the only ones visiting). I had a lovely time here! I would recommend getting a flight. It was a nice mix of whites and reds. Every glass was delightful. The scenery was pleasant and comfortable. Staff were knowledgeable and welcoming.
My husband and I kind of consider ourselves wine snobs (snicker if you want, we laugh at ourselves all the time!). Been drinking wine for 5-10 years now and our taste has developed a lot. We usually can like anything ranging from a from dry to semi sweet. I had a HARD TIME choosing which wine I liked best (same for my husband).
