My wife and I ate here for the first time yesterday evening on our way home. We really thought that the food was over priced for what you get. My wife had the BBQ dinner which was $14.99. Didn't even look like enough BBQ to fill a measuring cup. I had sampler platter 2 which had a 3rd rack of ribs, BBQ, and sausage. Very disappointing. What a great place for bbq! Highly recommend. Portions were filling, food was hot and fresh. Switched the biscuit for cornbread with my meal, that was a great choice. Would recommend honey or honey butter with the hushpuppies, but the plain butter served its purpose. Highly recommend! Will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.
The waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Have great recommendations for food and helped the kids pick meals they would like. Food was good. I preferred the original BBQ over the Carolina BBQ. Personally, I've had better Carolina, but it was ok. Fried pickles were homemade and delicious!
