This is your average southern diner without the seasoning. The staff is very friendly, service is great, food is vastly underwhelming but overall not awful either. Ordered the fried fish platter, fish was fried with the skin on and no seasoning which wasn't great, everything is fried in the same oil so, everything taste like fish and hush puppies. This place is everything you want in old time diner. Gray haired lady running the kitchen. Sweet toungues waitresses taking your order. Simple yet delicious food. And it's on the cheap side as well. I can't say enough good things about this place.
I wanted to love the place after taking a detour from the highway to come visit. I asked for the recommended dishes but unfortunately my taste buds and my stomach could not handle it and I had a terrible drive and night. I can tell the locals loved the spot and are return customers. I wish I had had the same experience. Good luck on all future business just not for an out of town family like mine.
