I stopped here at 11:00pm this past Wednesday night and even though it was slow, my French fries came out tasting like I transported back to 1999. They were perfectly tasty, salty and fresh. I haven’t had fries like that in years. Everyone should go to this McDonald’s!The man at the register knew all of the fry prices per size down to the penny and was friendly as heck. He deserves a raise! Wish I knew his name. I am currently eating McDonald french fries from North Carolina and they are not very good!

This is hands down the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I placed a mobile order through the app and pulled into the drive-thru, which is listed as open 24 hours. The response? “Drive-thru is closed.” I explain I already paid for my order. Silence. They just ignored me. I drove around and saw the employee sitting inside the first window in a chair, glued to their phone instead of doing their job. When I went inside, I gave my code and was told it was a drive-thru code and I had to go through the drive-thru. I explained the situation, and the answer was basically “wait outside for an unknown amount of time.” Apparently, the drive-thru person was “counting money” — but when I came back ten minutes later after picking up a Wendy’s order (with no problem at all, by the way), that same person was still sitting in the window scrolling on their phone and ignoring customers. So what’s really happening here? Are employees too lazy to work and just shut down the drive-thru to avoid doing their job? Absolutely disgraceful service, misleading app info, and a complete waste of time.

I stop here occasionally travelling down I-95 hoping the experience gets better. Gets worse each time. Staff are mean and extremely rude. Order taker had a lanyard that contained profanity. Extremely unprofessional. Is there a manager working here?? I'll go farther and visit another McDonald's down the road from now on.
