Great food, great music and the view of Old Rag is priceless!

My daughter and I decided to celebrate our bdays in Virginia this year by Shenandoah National Forest. We definitely wanted to visit a winery. Believe me, their are many to choose from. I am so happy we chose this one. Not only a winery but also a brewery. I did a beer flight while my daughter did a wine flight. We ordered the chicken flat bread, nacho platter and spinach artichoke dip and meatball sub. Everything was delicious. Scenery was beautiful and the owners Chris and Hal are super friendly and welcoming. A must try.

Lovely vinyard and property, and the food was great too. A must visit when near Shenandoa!

Perfect place to unwind & relax and have a beer or wine and light fare after hiking in the Shenandoah! Upside was their live music on the weekend! Bonus was they belong to RV overnights / Harvest Hosts so I stayed overnight in my Leisure Travel Unity and awoke to a beautiful Mountain View of Ragtop Mountain and the Vineyard. It’s 35 miles outside of Charlottesville or 15 minutes from Sperryville and 25 minutes to Patty Os in Little Washington. (Excellent Lunch Spot). Call Chris to arrange for overnight arrangements. They only allow 1 or 2 RVs per night although they could fit a few dozen!

We visited Blue Quartz Winery over the Memorial Day weekend, for the first time, and we pleasantly surprised with all of the drink offerings, from wine, beer, ciders and meads it fit the bill for the family. The food we had was good and tasty, the location and views were beautiful and peaceful. The nine of us very much enjoyed time relaxing, meeting the many dogs and owners, as well as a few games of corn hole. We look forward to returning this Summer. Thank you!

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Great food and a good selection of wine and beer. Very friendly people working and a very at home vibe.

Beautiful and low key vineyard/brewery! Great views and solid food. Nice staff.

We tried the wine flight and actually liked all of the wines! The views outside are lovely and it was a great location to do some birds watching. We identified 10 different birds while we sat and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We had a lovely conversation with some locals and the owners ( and their puppy) were very welcoming. What a great accidental discovery!

Very comfortable and pet/kid friendly environment for a stop after a lot day of hiking or driving. We really appreciated that they are open on weekdays; many wineries in the area are not. We enjoyed two wine/sangria/cider flights, which we were able to select ourselves, and the staff was very friendly even while busy. Just sat out back and enjoyed the view with our (very fairly priced) wine as the sun set. Oh and a kind dog welcomed us in, so, bonus!

The sangria and scenery is amazing! They also had a toasty fire going and live music!

What a great experience! This is a family friendly, dog friendly winery and brewery with gorgeous views of the mountains and their vines. There is food and great wine and beer. My faves are their Rose’, Chardonnay and Petit Verdot.

Phenomenal location with beautiful views. Horrid service and even worse wines. Not sure how they achieved high ratings. If you love wine, don't go. Terrible.

We had our rehearsal dinner here about a year ago and I cannot say enough good things about the owners and staff. They are so kind, accommodating, and welcoming. The beer and wine are great — our guests were so pleased! The scenery really can’t be beat either, and it was a treat that we were able to bring our dog to celebrate with us. Highly recommend!

Jimm from Sharp Rock highly recommended this place. I wonder if I wandered into the wrong winery/brewery. The staff working there seemed wholly indifferent. No counter tastings. The woman who sold me the glass was friendly if robotic. The younger guy working there could have cared less about anything but looking at his phone. The wine, at least the Viognier that I tried, was decent. The setting outside is beautiful. But given the lack of enthusiasm and total disinterest in customers, I will not be back.
