My daughter and I decided to celebrate our bdays in Virginia this year by Shenandoah National Forest. We definitely wanted to visit a winery. Believe me, their are many to choose from. I am so happy we chose this one. Not only a winery but also a brewery. I did a beer flight while my daughter did a wine flight. Perfect place to unwind & relax and have a beer or wine and light fare after hiking in the Shenandoah! Upside was their live music on the weekend! Bonus was they belong to RV overnights / Harvest Hosts so I stayed overnight in my Leisure Travel Unity and awoke to a beautiful Mountain View of Ragtop Mountain and the Vineyard. It’s 35 miles outside of Charlottesville or 15 minutes from Sperryville and 25 minutes to Patty Os in Little Washington. (Excellent Lunch Spot)....
We visited Blue Quartz Winery over the Memorial Day weekend, for the first time, and we pleasantly surprised with all of the drink offerings, from wine, beer, ciders and meads it fit the bill for the family. The food we had was good and tasty, the location and views were beautiful and peaceful. The nine of us very much enjoyed time relaxing, meeting the many dogs and owners, as well as a few games of corn hole. We look forward to returning this Summer. Thank you!
