One of the most charming experiences I've ever had at a winery! Delicious wine, beautiful views, and such a friendly staff - I would highly recommend DuCard Vineyards for your list of places to visit!

Exceptional wine and even more incredible staff. They made us feel so welcome. Rick, Janelle, and Gage were phoenominal and went through so many details and tasting notes with each wine. Would highly recommend

We love the food, wine, and knowledgeable staff at Ducard! The new Black Bear blend and the bubbly Pet Nat (chilled!) are our favorites. The cheese plate with warm, crispy and fresh baguette is a must-have. We sat outside next to the bubbling creek and a backdrop of mountains in the background with a forefront of grapes- amazing! The staff is so professional and knowledgeable- they seem to take pride in their craft, and it shows! Five stars!

Relaxing atmosphere. Lots of seating, including shaded areas outside. Staff was super friendly. They even brought my wife and I a bonus glass during our visit! All the wines were delicious: red, white, and sparkling.
A must visit.

An absolute gem in the foothills outside Shenandoah! We passed a delightful couple hours soaking in the scenery, drinking decent wine, and enjoying phenomenal, thoughtful hospitality.

The website said “family-friendly,” which was truly an understatement. My 2-year-old niece was with us, and staff went above and beyond to accommodate, surprise, and delight her. They brought juice boxes, hand fans, offered her chocolate, and she had a ball playing inside and outside. They are leashed-dog-friendly as well, and have a calendar of events including live music.

There is abundant seating indoor and outdoor, and we ordered at the counter before choosing the table we liked (shady, overlooking vineyards and a small creek). There were some flies and gnats, and staff provided hand fans and offered bug spray.

I was surprisingly pleased by the wines we tried in their white wine flight. The Chardonnay and Rosé were good. We heard other guests raving about their Cab Francs. Their wine maker is French, and his preference for old-world styles shows in his product. As we were leaving, we were offered a sample of their port with a bite of wine-filled chocolate, a truly generous and delicious gift.

We didn’t order any snacks, but they even have gluten free crackers!

Don’t miss DuCard. We’ll be back!

Fabulous wine, great live music, need I say more?

Beautiful location, same with the staff, great wines, and live music. While we were staying close by, 2 in our party returned one day for a wine and chocolate pairing tasting session with a chocolatier from Lindt Chocolates in Vermont.

Stopped in for a tasting and had some lovely crab dip and warm baguette. Angela was excellent and the property was pretty. Definitely recommend popping in!

The best wine in Va. We loved the cozy atmosphere on a cold rainy day. The live music was a bonus. The charcuterie was top notch. Don’t bring anything but your dog and yourself and get away from the hustle and bustle for a bit. I loved the Bear Mountain Red wine, both Chardonnay's and the C’est Trop dessert wine with the chocolates they sell was a delight. The wine maker is French and all the wines are in a French style and I am a huge FAN. My hubs was so relaxed he took a quick nap in a leather chair by the fireplace.

Excellent little gym of a place. The people and service are friendly and go above and beyond. More importantly, the wines are superb. Looking forward to returning soon.

What a nice setting and friendly people!
Lots of options on seating indoors and outside. We liked the white wines and when I saw they had a Norton on the list, Gage graciously poured me a tasting in addition to our flight.

Norton was ok, but not the best I have had, however they make a Norton Port that was surprising and very tasty. I did by that :).

We could have just sat there for hours, but were meeting friends at another winery.
Overall, a really nice experience.
