Went here for the port ( which is the best) but loved the wines just as much. Also they make fresh rosemary bread which was delicious ?.

The best wine and best people. Seriously some of the best wine I've ever had. I love every style they offer, and that's not normal at most vineyards I've been to. If you haven't been, you need to go.

Brent Manor is our absolute favorite! We visit any time we are relatively close to the area. Even though we don't make it to Brent Manor very often, the owners recognize us every time. They are extremely friendly and welcoming. The wines are excellent (we love the lemon crush winetail and the rose especially). This is a must-visit winery—don't pass it up.

We just had a wonderful tasting at Brent Mabor! The owner and his wife are wonderful hosts. The Porto style wines are indescribably amazing. I liked every single wine in the tasting- which is rare for me to say. Overall a must stop!

Jorge was so amazing!! Customer service was phenomenal, has so much knowledge about wine, and made me his special Bloody Mary! Fabulous views can’t wait to visit again!

I have never been to a winery that I liked every wine during the tasting. Brent Manor changed that. I highly recommend this winery not only for the wine but the nice owners. And the time they explained each wine!!

Unbelievable wine and terrific service. The owner is amazingly engaging and knowledgeable and eager to share at whatever level you want. Don't miss this especially if you like Ports!

We had some friends tell us about Brent Manor Vineyards and we are thrilled they did. Four of us showed up for a tasting reservation and also had a charcuterie board (which was stellar) reserved. The wine was great and Jorge (pronounced George) was an enthusiastic vintner explaining his wines. His wife Tracy was also very helpful. The view is beautiful and the Portuguese wines are just as good as the views. A definite must stop for anyone that enjoys wine and the stories behind them.

This place is so beautiful and the wine is good. It has so much potential to be one of my favorite places to visit as a Nelsonian myself. But… we were not made to feel welcomed. It was incredibly obvious the lady in the tasting room did not want us there. To be fair, we arrived 35 minutes before closing. But we stopped by as our last stop after an afternoon taking in the beautiful weather and scenery in Nelson County, completely cognizant of the fact that they closed at 5:30 and with zero intention of imposing on their posted closing time. Our goal was to to share the experience with some fellow wine-lovers that were in from out of town. But I won’t be back. I’m not a “one and done” type person when it comes to a negative experience. But this was different. We were an annoyance to her, so I’ll make sure we do not imposition again.

Amazing family-run winery! The wines are made in a Portuguese style with Virginia grapes. Every one we tried was delicious. The Touriga Nacional red table wine and the Petit Manseng white "port"-style are standouts. The child-free tasting room makes for a pleasant visit.

5 for the wine, the Bloody Mary wine-tail is highly recommended! However, I'd give them a 3 for customer service. Overall, they were friendly enough but they seem to be almost offended we, a party of 8, had the audacity to come without a reservation. The owner met us outside to ask if we'd called ahead, informed us that he usually wouldn't take a party of this size, but since they were slow, he'd accommodate us. Got in the building where he reiterated that his website clearly states no party over 6 without a reservation (which it does, we didn't check because we just googled wineries near us). His wife then chimed in with the same policy, at which point 3 in our party went back outside as to not upset the owners any further. He then went on to give us a very nice tasting, very informative, and not rushed. It's a shame out initial interaction with them was so off-putting.
