I really enjoy going to Angelika but my one problem is they don’t take Apple Pay and they also don’t take international cards. So trying to get tickets and snacks was a big problem that could be solved by adding Apple Pay.
The theater itself is nice, comfy seats and nice screen. But the concessions are ATROCIOUS. I ordered nachos for $10, and they gave me a small plate of store-bought tortilla chips and a tiny side of flavorless nacho sauce. If you're going to sell nachos for $10, I'm expecting beans and onions, if not ground beef!! They were also selling bottles of soda (that you can get at a vending machine for $2) for $6.50. absolutely ridiculous. If you're not going to let people...
To correct a couple other reviews, the price of tickets on a Sunday were lower than any Arlington theaters when fees were added.
The popcorn and drink price for a large order was moderately high, but refills are available on both, the drink cup is huge, and the machines offer excellent flavor options. I will go again.
