Great selection of beer and other beverages. Was warmly greeted by Marlo who let us sample what was on tap. We took advantage of the $10 cheesteak (with purchase of drink) deal and were very happy with both the portion size and quality of the sandwhich! First time out at the Fairfax Audacious Aleworks and would highly recommend coming and checking it out! Will be coming back in the near future!

Me coworker and I went to Audacious AleWorks because it was walking distance from our hotel. When walking in, we realized that is was music bingo that night. It was so much fun. Aubrey and Caroline were amazing and had such great energy. Go to Music Bingo!!!

Probably the definition of mediocre.
People are nice, beer is ok, food is a little laughable. Food is a little expensive for what it is, but it's not terrible. Like movie theatre food but priced normal.
Atmosphere is nice.

Food was terrible. Beer cheese better at a convenience store, same as the burger. Bartender, beers and atmosphere were great though!

A friend of mine worked here prior and stated that he wasn't paid for his work properly and to avoid eating there as they dont date foods properly.
Regardless, I like to give small business a chance. He was right, the tomatoes and onions on my burger looked and tasted horrendous. Beers might have been good, but I was so grossed out I couldn't appreciate my drink.
Cleaning and food procedures definitely need to be addressed.

This is a really cool brewery and the vibe is great. We sat outside, and it’s just kind of in the parking lot (but nice anyway). The beer is great, there is a blueberry maple beer that tasted like a bourbon cocktail. so good. highly recommend!

Pilsner tastes like water and fries are not real fries.

While the staff was extremely nice and hardworking, the food and beer do not hold their weight here. We got the burger and loaded nachos and felt very much like dorm food. We liked only a few of the beers on tap. On the other hand, appreciate the kid friendly atmosphere.

We visited on a hot and humid weekend day, and it wasn't too busy yet. The place needs some serious paint and updating. Flyers from the autumn season were still posted in the bathrooms. It seemed very unkept. We decided to sit at the bar, and waited. Waited. Waited for the server (I think his name was Kyle) to come over to us. He was the only one behind the bar, it looked like a woman was supposed to be working with him, but wasn't there (her name was on the board to name who the servers were). The server was chatting with a woman who had a billion questions at the other end of the bar top. There was no one else sitting at the bar except for us. After 8-10 minutes he finally got rid of her and he acknowledged us after I flagged him down. We ordered beers and a fancy grilled cheese and some fries (which they were out of I guess, so we had tots). The tots were super crispy, and the grilled cheese was delicious. The beers? Mediocre, and had a chlorine and musty taste to them. After our first round we wanted to try at least one more round. Maybe they were just not our taste. The server was more interested in his laptop at the other end of the bar, facing away from us at an angle. So he had absolutely no idea we needed a refill, nor that two other people were standing to our left waiting to grab some beers. When I was about to grab his attention, 2-3 small groups of people walked up to him at his laptop and he served them. So we waited about another 10 minutes before the chef from the kitchen actually made it down to us to take our drink order. The poor people standing next to us had the patience and waited about 15 minutes for anyone to get them drinks. I would have left. I guess you have to get up out of your bar seat to come face to face with this guy and distract him from his laptop to get a beer. The poor chef was doing double duty. The server also disappeared a few times for 5-6 minutes each time back to the kitchen, maybe to help the chef? It was nice to try a new place, but we won't be returning mainly due to the poor service.

Great beer and great vibes! I did a flight to sample a few different brews and every one of them was solid. The grilled cheese and tots were exactly what I needed to soak up the beer—simple and perfect. Big shout out to Aubrey, who made us feel super welcome and even invited us back. Really appreciated the hospitality. Looking forward to coming again soon!

This place was amazing! The bartender (I have forgotten her name, but she said she hosts the Wednesday Night Bingo) was friendly, informative, and so awesome! The Danger Kitty sour was delicious, and the tots and Rialto grilled cheese were yummy. I honestly cannot wait to go back and make this a regular place to attend. The fact that it's LGBTQIA+ welcoming only adds to the amazing place.
