Does not stay open until published closing hours, despite good foot traffic. Attendant at nearby subway had to inform us of this since there was no indication otherwise.

Always fresh and delicious

Open but not serving anyone. The attendee looked at us like we were bothering them. Don't go here.

This is the worst Auntie Anne's I've ever been to. The employees are terrible. Usually it's filled with teenage brats that don't care about their job or customer service. They completely unprofessional, lazy and never look clean. Today, however, the lady working today (3/4/19 12.30pm) was by herself and actually told all four of us in line that we had to wait because she was in the middle of making pretzels and proceeded to make them while we all waited. I find that to be incredibly rude. Won't be coming back here.

Everyone loves pretzels. I do. It's been a staple snack for years. Unfortunately I'm not particularly enamored by this Auntie Ann's. Don't worry I'm not picking on just this one, it's the overrated and overpriced products are preposterous. Even the basic pretzel with salt fails, and the cinnamon and other spiced "treats" are a disaster. Overpriced! Seriously $9 for sugary pretzel bites and a bottle of water, they are off their rocker. I will say the employees are really kind. There's never a long line so if you have a hungry kid, they seem to like this for whatever reason. Their taste buds haven't matured yet, but once they do they won't want this sour or an experience dough. Yes the pretzels look tasty, but they don't live up to their appearance. Go anywhere else if you can, as I don't get it, and am all twisted up in disgust.

Gross, old and stale pretzels. Worst Auntie Anne's experience ever. Complained about them not tasting right and they did nothing but stick their fingers in them and try to show me how "soft" they were. Stay far away...

Do not buy anything from here. This used to be my favorite Auntie Anne's. Stopped by every time visiting the mall. Recently, bad experience with everything I purchase from here. Kept going back to try different items hoping that it could have gotten better. It's getting worse. Bought cinnamon pretzel bites today and ended up tossing them in the trash. What a waste of money. I'll never go back to this location again.

Please do not eat here. Well, maybe eat here if you want to get a food borne illness so you can drop a few lbs. Employee was on personal cellphone in food prep area, then proceeded to set cellphone down next to the dough on the floured surface. Then they prepared my food without washing their hands or using a glove. When I spoke up about the egregious food handling error and asked for another (I had already paid) she picked up her phone again, played on it, then put back down on the food prep surface in an act of defiance. Gross!

Old hard cinnamon pretzels. The cinnamon was melted to the bottom of the cup and the pretzel dough was tough-hard. It was prolly sitting on the display shelves from yesterday. Not worth $4.12. I'd rather eat a frozen pretzel and add cinnamon sugar myself.

OK, so I'm almost positive there are 2 Auntie Anne's in Fair Oaks Mall, one upstairs, and one by JC Penney (unless the one upstairs just moved downstairs, but either way, my comment is for the one by JC Penney that I passed today). So on the directory website for the mall, it's listed as a "Auntie Anne's and Carvel". I get there, the only real signage for Carvel is a wall thing with a Carvel saying on it and a picture of a Carvelanche, aka the item I actually came looking for. So I ask the woman there if I can order a Carvelanche. She looks up from her phone and doesn't appear to speak much English because she doesn't seem to understand me. I point to the picture on the stand and say I want that and she says (in poor, broken English) "we don't sell that here". Wait a minute. So you advertise being a Auntie Anne's and Carvel, have Carvel signage...yet you don't actually sell something you have a freakin' picture of on your stand??? (it's one that's like built into the wall with a back room. I didn't quite see any ice cream machines, but how did I know they weren't just in the back?). I literally came all the way to the mall for this...and then I had to walk away, furious and empty handed. Problem is, I'm unsure if they really don't sell it, or maybe the seemingly only and lazy employee didn't want to make one or know how to, or maybe the ice cream machine is just temporarily broken...I just could not understand this woman well enough to try to figure this the hell out. I'm a NY transplant where Carvels are in practically every town...and I have no car and I thought I'd finally found one I could get to...no, of course not, why would I actually catch a break in Fairfax?

One of the worst experience. This Auntie Anne's doesn't accept their own reward coupons. The lady offered me that she will accept the coupon if I buy extra pretzels. I didn't go there to negotiate a deal. I'll take my business to AA's in Fair Oaks Mall. Fair Oaks Mall accepted my coupons and I got my free pretzels for my reward. I'm a regular for AA's, but this location doesn't want my business. Okay, I get it. I don't even plan on going the their Subway due to her lack of customer service. Pretty sad, but I do not want to support this location.

This place is kinda cheap. This is the one on the first floor that is like a booth next to the Fun Zone. The lady gave us cheese together with our pretzel that is old. The oil is separated from the cheese which is nasty. Instead of replacing it, she insisted that it is still OK. The pretzels are cold too.

Great place to get a fresh pretzel. Despite them always appearing to be fully staffed, the service is so slow. 4 stars rounded up from 3.9873. They really need to setup an order taking process. It shouldn't take 2-3 minutes for me checkout after waiting 10 minutes. Hint Swing that line around the side and have some of the employees start asking people what pretzel they are ordering so that you can have them ready to expedite the checkout process. Sort of like Starbucks. If it wasn't for the slow service and the employees just standing around in the back it would be 5 stars. Also need to accept Auntie Annie gift cards. Where else am I suppose to use a Auntie Annie's gift card?
