The service here has really gone downhill. The food is great, but customer service is lacking.
Amazing. I had placed an online order for a bunch of bagels to take to a tournament. When I got in my car to go get them, it was dead. I called to apologize that I wouldn’t be able to pick them up before they closed. They went above and beyond and had someone drive them over to my place. THIS is why you support small businesses. Only place I will get bagels from moving forward
great family business! amazing long island/lox bagel! always get mine with everything whole wheat! and i’m obsessed with their vanilla chai latte
Not sure how the bagels are, because they are closed on Mondays. For that and that only I’m giving this place 1 star.
ordered two long islands (lox and cream cheese) for pick up, got home, opened the bagel, and they left out the lox. charged me full price, and tried to say it was a "salmon spread".
Very chintzy with the cream cheese. Not even enough to cover the surface.
Fresh and tasty. I ordered a lightly toasted sesame seed, bagel with cream cheese.
I recently had a disappointing experience at Bagel Buddies, and I must say, it was far from satisfying. As I walked in, the first thing that caught my attention was the lack of variety in the bagel selection. Even though there were still three hours left until closing time, it seemed like they were almost out of every flavor. There were multiple employees gathered around chatting in the front as if they were at some casual hangout spot rather than working in a food establishment. It was clear that their lack of urgency and focus contributed to the dwindling bagel choices. It felt like they couldn't care less about the customers and their dining experience. Also if you’re thinking of getting iced coffee, make sure you ask for little ice because when I got mine, the cup was filled with 95% ice. After removing most the ice from the cup for a more desirable, proper amount, the level of the coffee was about a quarter of the way full. The decline in the bagel place's quality is palpable, and I can't help but connect it to the unfortunate passing of the founder in 2020. Since then, it seems like the heart and soul of the establishment have been lost.As a longtime customer, it saddens me to see how the once-thriving bagel place has fallen from grace. The founders' passion and dedication to crafting the perfect bagels are sorely missed. If the current management doesn't take immediate action to address these issues and revive the spirit of the place, I fear it will continue to disappoint loyal customers like myself.
Had a bad experience here, the bagels were not good at all. I purchased a breakfast sandwich and few bagels to take home. My breakfast sandwich was below average, it appears they cook the eggs in a microwave and they were a bit rubbery. It was on a jalapeno and cheese bagel that was too dense with little taste. My wife was not pleased with her bagels. We eat bagels often and would much rather buy them at a small bakery like this place, but unfortunately my experience here was not worth returning. The staff was fantastic, very attentive and polite.
Been going here for close to 20 years. Great family run shop. I love that they hire teens to give them a much needed first job.

I went there about a week ago to order a few bagels with butter. There were three teenage boys that acted like full grown adults and had great passion for the bagel industry that took our order, rang us up, and brought our sandwiches out efficiently. We asked the employee names and they were Idris, Owen, and another Owen (I like their names!) Would definitely recommend this place if you have any bagel cravings this summer! ?
I wish I there was a lower rate to submit.Bagel Buddies is one of participants of toogood2go app. I order a bag and pick up time was 130pm they cxl it at 1:10pm while I was in the store. It seems it is a family businesses, the lady showed up and she was so rud and kind of looked down at me and harshly spoke to me.No soft voice, no apology no other considerations, and when I try to ask why didn't czl earlier so I wouldn't drive to store, she replied "Have anice day" , Ignored me and went to the her office.Awful feeling and experince.
Went in today for the first time bagels were delicious and the service was excellent. I was encouraged to try the rosemary bagel. It did not disappoint! I will be back.
Been coming to this business intermittently for years both online and in person. I always assume mild risk as a customer ordering bagels unfortunately having many allergies.Store owner is apparently much more concerned with liability than trying to find a way to still provide an order to someone with allergy precautions. I disclosed my sesame and peanut/nut allergies in my order notes on Uber eats, AND EVEN WROTE EXPLICITLY THAT I UNDERSTAND THERE'S NO GUARANTEE ABOUT ALLERGY REQUESTS, as my allergies are not all fatal level. Order was immediately cancelled by store this time. I called to inquire. Owner says it depends on who in her store you're dealing with and how educated they are about the sesame allergy. Also said Uber should have a note with reason of cancellation as allergies, which it did not. She seemed weirdly intent on not fulfilling the order from the beginning.I explained on phone, not all my allergies were major and I asked about the other bagel options (not next to the sesame ones) to try to do my order yet again. She was perturbed and said I was "aggressive" in asking these questions about how to still fulfill the order with other bagel options in the store and that it was a "liability issue," despite me explaining my sesame allergy is not as serious as the peanuts, and I'm aware of all their policies and procedures, and obviously would not blame this store if I had a reaction, as sesame is everywhere. They do take precautions for nuts and have a sign in the store about it. They also don't offer egg sandwiches on the Uber app "due to costs..." but still do in store. Ok? And for a long time, there are NO prices listed in store for any menu items as you're ordering, so you have to ask about every item which is a wildly inappropriate and awkward ordering experience. Get a better system.Inconsiderate and variable, self protecting service, obviously have to find a new bagel place.Edit: forgot to mention the sign at the register "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" and they apparently certainly do for garbage reasons and I'm not alone! As a private business that's just a legal right, you don't have to actually post that. Weird! And after reading many reviews, it's definitely an owner attitude problem, that trickles down. Note to owner: you really should listen to these customer experiences and consider improving accordingly as business allows.
Great place to reminisce, have moved/,returned close by bagel buddies over the years.bagel was fantastic, decent amount of cream cheese. The coffe guy this past Sunday mid- morning was on point.Ordered double toasted, it wasn't.The store was dirty, toddler booster seat was soiled , greasy tables, trash was full, not too busy at the time, there was quite a few employees standing around ,could they perhaps have cleanup the customer area?
