They charge $4 each for baklava. We were in there to get some snacks but the shopkeep rang other people while we have been waiting in the line as if we did not exist. Not going back there and with the prices, it's just not worth it.

Minced meat pastry and pancakes are delicious. Chocolate baklava was also good. Edit: I loved stuffed leaves. It tastes very same home made Anatolian dish.

I learned about Baku during the 2023 DC Turkish Festival. I really enjoyed what I bought from them. It’s a bit of a drive from DC but I finally visited the cafe. Great desserts!

Very disappointed with my recent order. The portion size advertised on Uber Eats showed 3-4 items per portion, but I received only one tiny item. This is misleading and not acceptable. Additionally, the cost does not justify the smallest portion size received. Please keep in mind that what you see on pictures is too far from what you will get.

It's an excellent little grocery store & a mini restaurant which has a fantastic selection of authentic Azerbaijani, Georgian, Turkish, Moldovan and Russian food, including some very hard to find items. For example, they have Georgian Suluguni cheese, Turkish coffee and sweets, a phenomenal assortment of baklava, Russian candy and chocolate, and Moldovan and Georgian wines, such as Saperavi, in gorgeous hadnmade bottles. They have a Georgian chef who cooks the food that they serve. There isn't much space there but it still has a seating area for about a dozen people, and it's very cosy there.
Turkish coffee - top notch! And I loved the liver pate - exactly the way we’d do it at home! Baklava also great!

Much smaller than their advertised on Instagram. Dark and not very inviting. Prices too high for their authentic groceries. We had turkish coffee not made right. The cake was very fresh.

The food is pretty good and the lamb and rice was definitely my favourite. The owners are very friendly. The only thing I have to say is the price is too expensive especially for the lamb and rice which was $17 for me. The samsas had a good price though. On the other hand, I especially like the huge selection of Central Asian, Middle Eastern, and Russian snacks and drinks sold here.

Incredible... Everything they make is a masterpiece. The aftertaste of honey cake is really good. Highly recommend.
