What an absolutely awesome experience here at Bartaco! I gotta say Juan and Antonio were by far the best part! These may be the best bartenders/servers I’ve ever had! Food was also amazing. My favorite taco was the duck or pork belly! Will definitely be making the long drive back!

Love this place! The food is dynamite ? Check out the street corn! I had the pleasure of a great dinner there on Halloween night … delicious tacos and an amazing key lime pie, and Antonio, my server, was wonderful, attentive and kind, checking on me often (I as alone). If you’ve never tried this great place, please do! It’s fun and the food is definitely worth it.

Came to this bartaco twice for my and my daughter’s mother daughter date and have always liked the food, however, when we went this time there was something off. I was about to bite into the pork belly tacos when I noticed hair, many hairs.. I dismissed it for some reason and went in to bite, but checked again and it did not look like there was anything that would have fibers like that in the taco. I quickly asked the waiter if he could tell me what ingredients were in the taco and he didn’t say anything that would have fibers in it. When I showed him all the hairs that looked like beard hairs he quickly dismissed me and said it was cilantro fibers… but there wasn’t any cilantro on it. My daughter and I became super sick to our stomachs, paid the tab and left.
We will not be coming back.

Parking: Mosaic has a free parking garage. Target also offers free parking in their garage.
Best location. Fantastic food every time. Will absolutely make the trek out from Damascus, MD ? Genesis is a total gem and so lovely to interact with. Thank you to Nate and the rest of the staff for making this place a delight.

The only place to eat in the Mosaic District! True Food is crap and no where close to the amazing that is BarTaco. BarTaco has amazing people, amazing food, fast service, and overall a fantastic vibe. They take allergies extremely serious. Way better than anything you could ever get at True Food which did I mention stinks compared to BarTaco.
Dietary restrictions: They take allergies very seriously. Both managers talked to us and even went back each time we made an order to verify things were prepared properly and safe.
Kid-friendliness: Super kind to littles and the kids tray was an awesome value!
Our favorite restaurant in the NoVA area- we love it and go often. Super fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned. Amazing spicy margaritas, ceviche, tacos - our favorite is the chx and chorizo. I also love the cauliflower one. o! The cucumber salad thing and the kale salad are amazing ? (Now granted, I like veggies and salad, but honestly - it's addicting) Can't go wrong on this menu. Love it.

I love bartaco but the portions for the price are a bit ridiculous. This was my first time getting this lemonade for take out and THIS was all I got for $3.50. It’s not even enough for a kids cup. I asked if this was all that I would get and the lady said that’s it. I would stick to the food because it’s pretty good but don’t get a drink unless your dining in.

I recently visited Bar Taco, and overall, the experience was mixed. The food was just okay—nothing particularly memorable. The chicken was nice, but I wasn’t a fan of the kale salad. The corn was interestingly made, but it didn’t really stand out. What really put a damper on my visit was the new process of ordering food through the phone. It feels impersonal and detracts from the dining experience. The waitstaff seemed to disregard us entirely once the phone ordering took over. I much prefer the old-fashioned way of interacting with a server to ensure a good experience, and unfortunately, I didn’t get that here.
