Alright let's go. I am NOT Indian nor am I an Indian food expert by any means...but I eat a lot of food and I recognize there's a wide range of mediocre decent good and OMG will be back. Let's jump in. Overall: this place did NOT make me go Bum Bolly Dunn Dunn Bum Bolly Dunn Dunn **insert Bollywood dance wrist gestures* 3.5/5 Food: I found the variety lacking. The chicken tikka was mostly chicken breast, with pieces quite dry. The tandoori chicken was chopped up into small chunks so it was mostly bone with small flesh. Their salad was surprising fresh, and they had a delicious chaat appetizer. While they did have paneer, there was no fish or goat offerings. Inside: Very roomy, nice and clean Cost: buffet weekday $15.99, 17.99 weekend

We picked up food here and boy did it delight! Flavorful, large portions and well packed to bring home and eat hot. The vegetarian options (samosas and vegetables in Indian gravy) did not disappoint. Butter chicken was melt in your mouth tender and juicy.

From the appetizers to the desserts everything was delicious. My family of four enjoyed dining at Bollywood and we will certainly be back. The service was also exceptional.

I usually don't write reviews on Google. But, Bollywood Bistro is by far the best Indian restaurant in the northern Virginia area. The food is amazing, basically the same taste as food in India. The service is amazing and the ambience is very nice. You need to try their Malai Kofta, it is simply perfect. The prices are so affordable as well. I order 3 starters, 2 mango lassi, 2 curries, garlic naan, and 2 desserts, and the total was only $100. Best place if you are looking for high quality Indian food.

However, I felt the service was very good. I was I impressed with the senior staff's training of new staff and the service in general was first-class.Got the lamb rogan josh, assorted pakora, goat masala, bread basket, and dessert. All excellent. It was so good, I want to go back and try everything.

Food and service are amazing. Highly highly recommend. I always end up tipping 40% because of how great the service is throughout. Lunch buffet is back = great price and options if you work in/around city of Fairfax. It’s my favorite spot downtown.

This is a really good restaurant. I have to say "thank you," as I love some delicious Indian food. Due to its location, it is a little bit expensive. Yet sometimes you have to pay a bit more for exceptional food. The Macchi Kebab was quite tasty, but for the record tandoori chicken is where it's at. That exquisite flavor is something you've just got to try. Gobi Manchurian is a quite unique appetizer. That's one you'll want to try, as cauliflower can be fascinating after all. Got to say the portions sizes are decent, and every experience has been quite good. This is a good place to start your Indian cuisine journey out. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. That's what I like about here the most. Some like it for business meals, I find it better as a date type of place. My recommendation is corporate casual style dress. All of the seats are comfortable, and being tall I appreciate the amount of room. It's quite trendy and if you're in the area, definitely consider this one.
