Overpriced and no flavor. I used to come often for weekend buffets and came today, they told me no more buffets for now. I tried their order form menu foods, when I tell you the portions were SMALL, I got 5 pierces of chicken on $15 dollar dishes. Ok, maybe the flavor can make up for it, NO, basic and flavorless, I felt utterly cheated.
The best Indian restaurant in Fairfax. Owner and store manager/staffs are nice to customers. Store is clean and well organized. Their tandoori chicken & goat curry taste really good.
Food was just okay... for the price and portion, it wasnt even close to being worth it, there are just so many better options in this area for a better price and larger portions. They also have plastic lukewarm bottled water on every table, so because it is pretty universal that water is free with meals, you would assume its free, especially with no warning about a charge. The waiter was nice so that is a plus, but there was this awful saxophone cover music that sounded like anti loitering music... really makes dinner that much less enjoyable. Overall I suppose that we should have been warned by the fact that there was only four other patrons on a friday night during peak dinner hour.
Worst food..today we had chicken briyani its just plain rice mixed with chicken curry no spices ,nothing.i think they never tasted the briyani.we ordered chicken curry its full of chicken with less curry but they charge 15 dollars. Waste of money..I will not recommend to anyone. today we are so disappointed and wasted 50 dollars
Food is great - very spicy and very tasty, pricing is generally pretty reasonable. My only gripe is that you're charged for drinking from the bottles of water that are already placed at every table. My party was surprised to see we were charged ten dollars for six bottles of water. Obviously the cost isn't outrageous, but the principle of charging for bottled water placed at the table without warning when free tapwater is a universal industry standard felt sort of slimy. I'd expect better from an establishment that's otherwise pretty classy and high-quality.
Wonderful family-owned restaurant! My mother and I visited over the summer to celebrate my birthday and really enjoyed our introduction to Indian food. The chicken biryani was delicious, and the portion was more than enough that we probably only needed to order that to share. The naan bread was so yummy, I could eat a whole order of that myself. Looking forward to going back and trying something different....and having more naan to start ;)
The best Indian food outside of India. Everything is delicious but their garlic naan and aloo Gobi are favorites, get them every time. It's good take out but it's to die for fresh at the restaurant
Just had a carry out and after several years of good but not great food this meal was amazing. New chief? Everything was prepared perfectly. I never do reviews but this had to be viewed as excellent. Keep it up.
The food was fresh and flavorful! I am amazed at the quality and the love that clearly goes into this food! I highly recommend this restaurant! The manager was so kind and very thoughtful! 10/10 ?
