Had a great authentic meal here! Food arrived quickly and service was friendly. Favorite dishes: Mashed pepper, preserved egg, and eggplant app was unique and refreshing. Stir fried beef (chef special) was cooked perfectly. Very tender beef Reservations: you might need a reservation if you go around 7pm. We went on a Sunday at 6pm, and were seated immediately. After 6:30 all the tables were filled. Fyi, your clothes will probably smell strongly of Sichuan peppercorns when you leave. So just beware.

Chef Yan is usually quite good, dishes are flavorful and generous. Take out Saturday with spring rolls (excellent), dumplings (very good), mu shu pork (very good), and beef with eggplant (excellent, a favorite). Also ordered hot and sour soup, which had no chicken or any other protein, no shoots or carrots, nothing but liquid, a couple mushrooms and egg strands. And it was so hot we could not eat it. Very disappointing, since I had ordered this soup previously and enjoyed it. I tossed 2 quarts of it down the toilet.

I have been to this restaurant many times, the quality of food was good when I dine in there. But I ordered on the Uber eats today, pics shows what did I order and what do I get. Young Chow fried rice = Soy sauce fried rice?

God awful Chinese delivery. The worst Chinese I've had in a long time. Only thing that was good were the soups. Ordered the general Tao chicken and the meat was expired to the taste! Spit it out immediately so I wouldn't get sick. Very poor quality.

Ambiance: 4/5 The seats width was too big Service: 3.5/5 we needed to call them to refill water Food: 3/5 Braised pork belly, food was in the pool of pork fat. Taste was below average. There was no wow effect. Steam dumplings, the filling was small amount. Skin was too thick. Price was too pricey for being just 5 dumplings: Over all experience: 3.5

Great food. Good service. Great value. We were the only non-asian customers, so that must mean something. I didn't really like the duck, but it was probably dumb to order it at a place that doesn't specialize in it. Everything else was delicious.

This dish is the best Sichuan food I have eaten in Virginia, and the owner is from Sichuan. Recommended braised mutton, grilled fish, Maoxuewang, Japanese tofu, pickled fish, and spicy frog are all my favorites!

Very authentic Sichuan food, a great dining environment, and a very large food portion. Careful when you order spicy food if it's your first time eating Sichuan food :)

Very tasty and authentic Sichuan cuisine. I ordered stir fried bok choy, Water Boiled Beef (a very spicy chili oil and cabbage/bean sprout sauce dish), and the Ma Po Tofu. It was a lovely meal over the holidays and dine-in service was excellent for me. The restaurant is quaint and cosy, but the staff were really friendly and attentive. Dishes came with a satisfying amount of flavor and heat, and the vegetables even had that smoky wok hei.

Delicious authentic Szechuan food, some of the best in the area! Our favorite for takeout. My kid loves the shredded pork with dried tofu 香乾肉絲; she orders it at all Chinese restaurants that have it on the menu and she says it’s the best she’s had. We love the spicy braised beef 水煮牛,shredded beef with green pepper 小椒牛肉絲,and the chicken gizzards with sour beans 酸豆角雞胗. Generous portions and decent prices.
