We always sit in either John’s section, or if he has no tables, with Charles in the bar area. Both are excellent servers that know their business. We come here on the regular and never leave disappointed.
On the recommendation of family I decided to find out for myself if Chuy's would measure up to their excellent version of Tex Mex cuisine. I had a craving for chicken fajitas and what came out was a scrumptious platter of perfectly seasoned, tender chicken. It was accompanied by a plethora of the freshest toppings i.e tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and shredded cheese. I eagerly feasted on the most pleasurable bites of savory goodness from the chips and salsa to the very last perfectly warmed tortilla wrap. Don't wait for Cinco de Mayo. Just go and have yourself a guaranteed epicurean delight!
Best tres leches in town. The only one my little sister will eat. We drive 30min just to get it. I also die for their quesadillas.
Jessica is the best waitress I have ever had!
The restaurant was very clean, the food was very good and the service was excellent!!
Our waitress was jessica, she did an excellent job!
BIG fan of this place!! loved chatting with Rene at the bar with some beautiful fishes swanging above me! Karla is also a great server and doesn’t mind refilling my queso every 5 minutes <3 Great music, great fishies, amazing workers, AMAZING FOOD, If you haven’t been here you’re missing out for sure.
The tortilla on my burrito was really dry and hard, I didn’t get any cutlery either
I had a problem trying to order a Gift card on-line from Florida. I called Chuy’s in Fairfax County and spoke to Jordan. She was friendly, patient, helpful and resolved the problem. Thank you, Jordan.
Some of the best tex mex I've had in a while. But apparently I'm late to the game on Chuy's.
The fajita and the tortillas that come with it is very good. Would 100% recommend fajitas.
Elvis green chile fried chicken was not good, it was bitter because of the fried crust batter made out of Lays. It was like an experiment went wrong.
Overall, 4 stars because of fajitas and fresh tortillas.
I dined here today and found my overall experience to be quite satisfactory. The interior had a charming decor, featuring colorful wooden fish hanging from the ceiling and numerous pictures and paintings of puppies and other images on the walls. The vintage diner chairs and booth added an interesting touch. I chose to sit in a booth, which, while cushioned, felt somewhat rigid at a 90-degree angle, making it less than ideal for extended comfort.
The food portions were generous and reasonably priced. While the flavor was decent, there is potential for enhancement—particularly regarding the freshness of the guacamole and lettuce served on the side. However, I enjoyed the Berry Nada Non-alcoholic Mule, which was quite refreshing. Overall, the service met my expectations.

I had a salad. It was decent but it was also massive and felt like a waste of food. If I were to go back, it would be because the service and host were incredibly kind and welcoming.
Either order take out it go when it’s super slow. Definitely don’t sit in the bar. The staff were super vulgar while speaking Spanish to each other. As much as I want to go back I don’t think we will.
Love this place you must try it.
We both had the Tacos al Carbon, steak fajita. Great! Server. Cindy was timely on everything. Atmosphere is quirky and cheery.
Always an Absolutely incredible experience. We always ask for Chan and he gives incredible service every time. Will keep coming back forever because of him.
