A friend and I went to Coastal Flats on Friday night about an hour before closing. Chris was our server. The food and service was AMAZING!! We are always scared to go somewhere close to closing, but we never regretted that decision. Chris greeted us with a smile and made sure we had the same level of service if it was the middle of the day. He even asked us if we needed anything before the gym closed. Such amazing service! We enjoyed our 3-course meal that night and the atmosphere made it a great place to relax after a long work week.

I expect more from Coastal Flats. A side salad, fresh greens yes but two halved mini cherry tomatoes and and a tasteless dressing? The clam roll was barely warm "fried" clams that looked and tasted like they came out of a freezer bag plonked on a bed of completely soggay and wilted greens drenched in dressing in a soggy roll. The fries were not cooked and cold, I didnt even give them to the dog. Yes this was takeout but I have never had a meal this bad from any other Coatal Flats. And frankly anyplace else.

I love the short smoke salmon salad. Service is always 5⭐️
This was our first visit and a lucky find since we were visiting from AZ. The restaurant has a nice vibe, colorful wall murals, lively background music but not too loud. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day. Service was perfect the first meal but a couple of minor screwups in the second meal but they were quickly fixed. They also have menus for folks who have dietary restrictions.
There's plenty of parking around this shopping area.
Food was excellent with the exception of the shoestring fries. Didn't seem to fit in with the restaurants atmosphere.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

On the reservation we noted it was a birthday dinner. Hostess greeted us with a Happy Birthday. The waiter said Happy Birthday. Nothing beyond that was recognized. We spoke to Michael the manager afterwards asking why we didn't receive any cake like the 2 tables next to us and he offered us no good answer. He said we should have asked for a manger and made up excuses. Disappointed since we love this restaurant. Will take our business somewhere else. Dropped $150 and will be glad to give another business that revenue.
