Has to be an automatic 1 star on food, service from server was 5 stars was great but the management left something to be desired in their handling of our issue. I bit into my burger only to find a piece of wire bristle inside the patty, I flagged this to my server and he offered to have it remade.
The manager came over to apologize and said our entire meal would be covered and they'd be back with us for QC (we didn't hear from them again beyond a silent dropping off of the food) and asked us if there was anything we wanted. We politely declined anything else and just waited for my part of the meal so I could eat (my wife had finished her meal while we waited for my new burger to be cooked).
Once I was finished, they asked if we'd like anything else and not wanting to take advantage of the generosity we were offered we declined a dessert. Not a minute after, we were quite unpleasantly surprised to be given a bill for the meal with only the burger removed. Not even my soda was comped, so even if it was only supposed to be my meal, it wasn't entirely comped as we were led to believe.
Fortunately, my mouth was only scratched from the wire found in my food and didn't draw blood. But the experience on the whole still left a poor taste in my mouth. We expect better from Great American Restaurants but sad to say this is not the first time we've been let down in recent memory.

Ordered the salmon/mashed cauliflower dish again - consistent in how ridiculously delicious this entree is. Best salmon and mashed cauliflower I’ve had in my life - it actually beat out Smith & Wollensky’s in Chicago last week. Our server, Angel, ensured the food was cooked to our desire, and was super friendly and accommodating. Ask for her!

Hires employees that run Veterans down. Tells them to die! Pretends to be a Veteran with stolen Valor! This is not acceptable and is quite disgusting. If this is how you run your business you close your door.

Hiring employees that tells veterans they should un-alive themselves is a bad move, any company like this one should be ran out of business. If they can stand behind an employee that can make those comments then they can stand here and watch as their business gets the attention it deserves.
A friend and I went to Coastal Flats on Friday night about an hour before closing. Chris was our server. The food and service was AMAZING!! We are always scared to go somewhere close to closing, but we never regretted that decision. Chris greeted us with a smile and made sure we had the same level of service if it was the middle of the day. He even asked us if we needed anything before the gym closed. Such amazing service! We enjoyed our 3-course meal that night and the atmosphere made it a great place to relax after a long work week.

The food was excellent! Our server, Brooke, was exceptional!! She was knowledgeable of the menu, gave good descriptions, and she was very attentive throughout the dinner. We will certainly ask for her the next time we visit.
