Court side Thai is a great cozy place in downtown Fairfax. Very cute entrance. The Thai food was fantastic, I got typical pad Thai, but with scallops which were amazing. My wife got the pineapple fried rice which she also enjoyed. The court side Thai dumplings for an appetizer were perfect.

Me and my family have been coming here for over 10 years and it’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area- even our extended family demands to eat here when they visit! The service is wonderful with such lovely owners. We love the food, be it the classics or new dishes that we enjoy trying.

This is a solid performer by a sweet Thai family. It's clean and service is good. Food was good. While there was not a standout amongst the items I ordered, everything was good. I'd come back.

Really delicious food, and not just typical Americanized Thai food -- lots of interesting dishes from different regions. And the two people serving us were very sweet!

Just got back from Thailand. Food here is the least authentic Thai food I've ever eaten. Soup was literally inedible; bitter. Phat Thai was jsut sos-so and not authentic. Portions seem large. Prices are a little high. Staff service was terrible on the night we visited. Understaffed. Would not go back. Difficult to understand why this place has gotten so many high marks.

Best Thai food I’ve eaten. The vegetables are very fresh & deliciously prepared. Our server was very attentive & cordial. Large dining area & outside court available.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishes to choose from.Parking: Parking can be tricky as there is no lot

Okay, stay with me... we had tickets to an 8p Nate Bargatze show (along with 10k other people in the area), and a 6p reservation at Courtside Thai. The restaurant was packed (Friday night) and had three people working the floor. We didn't receive menus until 6:20 after asking, and had to ask again (at the front) to order at 6:35 where I mentioned to the staff that we had to leave at 7:30.They rushed to take our order (table of 4). Brought spring rolls at 6:40, so we thought we were set.I went to the front to pay in advance at 7 (still no food, but didn't want to wait for a check after the meal), and the gentleman at the front seemed angry at me for paying early?By 7:35, still no food. No update, no apology for 95 min wait. And we had to leave. The gentleman then chastised us for not having enough time to wait for food? Sir, 95 minutes is WAY long to not receive food. And if your entrees aren't coming until an HOUR after apps, something is way off. They did box up food and we left at 7:40. We ate it later that evening, and it was bland and average. The Pad Thai was dry, noodles were undercooked, and dish was flavorless. The curry was also fairly bland (good spice, but bland).Look, they were slammed and understaffed, and we were on a time crunch. Not great for anyone involved. But the way they treated us during the evening was not acceptable. And the food was average at best when we did get to it (obviously hours later, but curry should improve in flavor?).If they had treated the situation with more grace and understanding, I would consider returning. But being angry with us and chastising us for not being able to handle a full house on a Friday? And then turning out average food? Won't return.

Weekend, weeknight, this place is my favorite in the Fairfax area. We decided to dine indoors today due to the weather. We enjoyed the chill jazzy music with beers and our 3lb flounder. We took the time to listen to owners June and Sam's 40 years in the resturant industry. You'll never feel rushed or uncomfortable here. There's so much to see and try. Grab a seat, order a few beers and chill out with some of the best Thai food in town!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Fairfax! Their dishes are flavorful and authentic. The variety is great here, my family has a list of go-to dishes such as the sun dried beef jerky with sticky rice, whole fried flounder, tom yum soup (so tasty here), pad kee mao, and grilled beef salad. Their Thai tea has a nice tea color (iykyk) but is a bit on the sweet side for me. They also put effort in the overall presentation of their dishes. The vibe is casual with an overall homey feel. They even have outdoor patio seating. Parking is a bit tricky if you're doing pick-up but during a nice day there is a public garage with more spots that is a quick walk away. The owners are very sweet and kind, typical of Thai hospitality. This place disappoints!

What a wonderful place!!! Came in here for the first time for Valentine's Day lunch with my hubby, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff were soooo sweet and attentive, and I loved the extra little Valentine's Day touches like bending my straw into a heart and giving my hubby a fresh rose to give to me. Everything was perfect! Also, get the mango with sticky rice for dessert, you'll thank me later!

Courtside Thai has become my favorite place to get my Thai fix. I dined here a couple of times now, and every time, it feels like I am in good hands. The owners are so courteous and attentive--they are just the sweetest! There is plentiful seating both inside and outside. The restaurant is decorated with fun and colorful decor, even the outside is decorated with seasonal decorations and lots of Thai peppers! You can find parking at a nearby lot or on the street. I suggest looking at Google Maps for options. My favorite menu items here include the Courtside Catfish, Thai Drunken Noodles, and the Gaeng Panang. Don't forget to order a Thai Tea or Thai Coffee to pair with your meal. Everything was delicious and flavorful, and you can tell it was made with love. Ask for the pepper/sauce tray if you want to add a little more spice to your dishes!

Service was attentive but I sorry to say that the food was below average. My Pad Thai was so bland that I had to put soy sauce in it. I had never done that before and I had probably eaten 50+ pad Thai from different restaurants. My friends also didn't like their food much.
