Erbil is in kurdistan not iraq
Great food, from UK 🇬🇧
“This is the best kebab I’ve had in the United States—even better than those I’ve tried at Michelin-starred restaurants. Erbil’s Kebab truly stands out. I only suggest they improve the restaurant’s appearance and cleanliness.”
Good service and good food!
Great food quality and service!
Sheida, was amazing!! She was so helpful and was very interactive! Made us feel very welcome.
The service was amazing and good came pretty fast! The food was amazing and it reminded me of my Iraqi culture. I really recommend this place to people who are trying to try new things. I’m from Erbil, and i didn’t know if the food would be authentic but it was very authentic. Amazing, would come again!
This is the only place left in Fairfax for proper Samoun bread. Which is, of course, the only substantial bread for kabap. And it’s kulish leziz!
Excellent food and service. Atmosphere is basic but it’s not why a person comes here.

Restaurantji Recommends
Cool hookah lounge and kebab place. Awesome hookah made by Saby and great chicken shawarma sandwich.
Erbil Kabob is hands-down one of my favorite spots. Sheyda was my server—super friendly, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. I had the ground lamb & beef kebab sandwich with fasolia—so flavorful! I’ve been here multiple times and everything is consistently delicious, especially the hummus and fresh bread. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Great food and great service
This is the 3rd time I eat here, whatever I ordered was delicious and great. Prices and the portions make sense 👌. I will definitely come here again.
I was really excited about this place as my wife is from Al Basrah Iraq and we try and eat anyplace where there is Iraqi food.
I purchased the mixed kabob (iraqi kabob - mix of beef and lamb) ($22.99) and chicken chunks. The chicken was not great, but at least it was moist - it lacked seasoning and didn't taste like it was cooked over coal. The kabob had too much salt and had two bone shards in three bites. The salad was very poor and looks to be barely an afterthought, the humus tasted manly of tahini and was thin. The bread is great and this places saving grace.
I also had the Kibbeh Halab (11.99 for 3). It cracked when fried so was likely frozen, and because it cracked and was filled with oil. The flavor of the filling was also too sweet; tasted kinda like apple pie. Good Kibbeh is savory, and this wasn't good. (Making it uniform so it doesnt crack with the rice is really hard, but that's why it's so expensive) They also didn't give me any garlic sauce with any of the food - which is just un-Iraqi.
The young lady who helped me was wonderful, without her in this mix it would have been one star total.
