Was very disappointed by the experience today. There wasn't 1 person in line and I stood there for 5 minutes until someone finally got to the front. No hi or anything. The lady just points to what I want and I just nod. Got their Laffa burrito thing and it was disgusting. First she sneezed and then left and someone else came 3 minutes later and helped finish my Laffa burrito thing. The other lady that wrapped it has the worst wrapping skills in the world. It was just clumped together. Not one person smiled or asked me if I'd like a drink or anything. And the food wasn't worth the price either.

I'm posting this review as a long term review of experiences I've had here since they opened. They have some of the worst service I've ever seen. The employees just sit on autopilot and slop things together. Today they served me a mangled pita and I asked for a paper plate because there was holes in the pita and I didn't want to eat it with my hands. The employees refused (as they do pretty much any request, try asking for extra rice haha), stating that to get a plate of food it costs $1 more than a pita so I would need to pay a dollar, even though they're the ones that made the pita. They offered to get the manager over a plate worth a couple cents. I ended up just leaning over to blaze pizza (right next to the garbanzo register) where the employee was very responsive and gladly gave me a pizza box even though I wasn't even eating there. It's like night and day between the bad and good service at these two places. Coming back to the long term review, the food at garbanzo can be really good, but I often question how long some of the food has been sitting out. The vegetables are always at the bottom of the container and soaked. The rice can be dehydrated and burnt around the edges of their container. I really want to like this place but the service has gone from bad to the worst over time and it looks like that will never change with the current employees. I hate writing a review like this as I used to work at and help manage a food place for many years so I know what it's like, but bad customer service is bad customer service.

I went there today to try it for the first time. None of them spoke English very well, and so there was some confusion. All I wanted was the a gyro laffa ($7 something). I even told them that I just wanted the gyro meat (multiple times to different workers) with some of the rice and veggies. I told them I did not understand how to order it because I knew I looked stupid trying to order the food. It did not help that they couldn't understand and weren't able to explain how it works. I ended up getting something somehow that ended up becoming $11. I very obviously just wanted the $7 option, otherwise I honestly wouldn't have ordered at all. Also, I could tell that they were talking about me and judging me, but I didn't even want the other items in the first place! It was extra food, and I even only ate half of the wrap and gave the rest away to my friend. It was a very embarrassing experience and instead of arguing I just paid for it. I was very close to just walking away. I really don't ever want to go back.

I love the food here. I always get the falafel pita and the add ons never disappoint. The only thing that bothers me is the portion size of the fries. Although the entree is quite big, the fries are only a handful.
