Where was this coffee shop when I went to George Mason?! This place was everything! I loved the coffee, the vibes, and the barista was super nice! Highly recommend the dirty chai and the breakfast sandwiches. If you are in Fairfax this is a must!

This cozy cafe is situated in the University Mall in Fairfax and offers a selection of coffee, pastries, small treats, and other beverages. During our afternoon visit, we noticed that the pastry display was somewhat limited, with only a few options available, though the mini cheesecake we tried was delightful. The Cafe Latte and Matcha Latte were rich and creamy, complementing the cheesecake beautifully. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was inviting, featuring high ceilings and comfortable seating. Additionally, tables at the back are suitable for those looking to work on their laptops.

Whoever employed the Guy that worked on Thursday may 1 at 4 pm should think again. I have been coming to this cafe for over a year and many times 2-3 time per day. I haven’t received anything but love and good vibes. But the attitude I received today from this person was crazy and he spilled coffee and milk all over my mug. I have no idea what caused this attitude. But anytime I’m coming and he is working I will definitely exit and go somewhere else.

Got a mocha frappe and it was horrible; tasted like water and all they did was blended up more ice.
Needs to be shut down; Dunkin’ Donuts would have been a better place to spend MY MONEY.

1 star. There was a sign that said "outside food not allowed". We got food from next door - Halal guys, in addition to the food we bought at Gathering Grounds. While we were eating a guy from Gathering Grounds came out and said "Appreciate it if you do not bring outside food in here". We did not know next door food was "outside" food. I respect every store having its own policy - but when there are 5 restaurants in a row with seating everywhere, you would think everyone gets along and that it is ok to sit anywhere and eat any store's good.

We grabbed a quick Cappuccino , Cheese croissant, Pumpkin Chai latte and Cinnamon stick on way dropping daughter to GMU.
The cashier girl seems new in the job while the other person very helpful.
1st time, it was okay. The cashier was told it was the first time and she did welcome me but didn't help me understand how to enjoy. I tried to figure it out but looked weird walking around staring at everything.
Food: tasted good but was premade.
Service: advised I was lactose intolerant and was looking to try something and received little help with their options. Everything had dairy in it.
Atmosphere: typical of most coffee shops but the menus were handwritten and scattered. It was written nearly but made it hard to see all options to order.
