The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant in a home built in 1843 was charming, the service was good we enjoyed our waitress. Our dinner was delicious we all enjoyed our Rockfish! We celebrated a birthday, the delightful chocolate cake was delicious , served with Champagne. We'll be back for the next celebration!
Hamrock's is a wonderful local restaurant, which has consistently good food, and value. We enjoy their restaurant week menu. In celebration of my birthday, they provided a delicious dessert with a glass of champagne! Very thoughtful and generous!
We were there for restaurant week, where there was no beef entree on the menu. I got the fish, which was so-so. Not bad, but...fish. The lobster bisque tasted good but lobster was noticeably absent. S'mores ice cream pie dessert was delicious. It was topped with marshmallow fluff instead of whipped cream, which was a little weird. Would I go back? Absolutely, but maybe not for the restaurant week menu.
