Charming place. Even without trying the food, I can tell this is the kind of place I’d like to come back to. They have exceptional drinks and great service.

Such a cute little modern spot. All the food was great and fresh. Fries, bao, popcorn chicken, and pork belly were all great. Good beer selection. Loved all the different beer glasses. Went in on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t very busy at all. Waiter checked on us consistently (sometimes that’s actually an issue when it’s slow, but not here!) will def be back to try the rest of the menu.Dietary restrictions: Popcorn chicken is gluten free. There are other options noted as gluten free too. Nice to have some options that aren’t boring or bad substitutes. Hard to find any sort of breaded chicken that’s gluten free. Bravo!

I will not admit to how many chicken sandwiches or bao I've purchased. Bar staff is on point with recommendations. There's a lot of options and there's no bad choices from their menu. My favorite spot in downtown Fairfax, and one I'm very happy to see made it through a tough couple of years during the pandemic.Follow all their festivals and events because the Asian Festival on Main, shouldn't be missed.Parking: Small lot behind their building as well as a free lot just a short block away.

Really enjoyed the dan dan noodles with the added braised pork belly. The braised pork belly over rice was also good but definitely needed the addition of the pickled mustard green and really was a lot of rice. Pork belly boa was good but a little bready, and I was luke warm on the popcorn chicken, as it was crispy but a bit dry overall. Generally I'd say the pork belly menu options were the way to go.

Great food and drafts!! Everything came out so quickly and we ended up staying for hours bc the atmosphere was just so good. It’s a great spot for a girls or date night! Also, their braised pork belly was to DIE for!!!!

Not family friendly. We were the first and only patrons there on a very slow Sunday. We left before the place actually got busy. The bartender (or perhaps manager? Owner?) was super snide to us because we had our 11 month old with us. They do not have high chairs, and he made several nasty comments about her. If you don’t have high chairs, it’s pretty hard to keep little ones contained! Food came out haphazardly, and wasn’t anything to write home about, but the service was memorably bad.Kid-friendliness: Incredibly NOT kid friendly. Strongly do not recommend.

Excellent beer, fantastic service, and wonderful staff! My family and I are regulars at this restaurant. The owner consistently makes you feel special, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. The beers always rotate out and there is something unique and interesting to try every time. Food does a great job with mixing authentic and modern, and there is something for everyone! I highly recommend trying the three cup tofu.

My husband and I saw this place when driving through Fairfax one day and knew we would have to stop in. Finally we did and it exceeded our expectations! We got the tornado fries and popcorn chicken to start. I wish the fries were a little thicker cut personally (they were so crispy that they felt more like chips than fries) but they tasted really good. They were a little hard to get off the stick though. The popcorn chicken was great and came with a sweet and spicy sauce. I would have loved a chipotle mayo but the other sauce was very very good. The popcorn chicken was perfectly fried and crispy. My husband got the pork belly over rice and I got the zha jiang noodles. I didn’t try it, but my husband said he loved the pork belly! He said it was perfect and exactly what he was hoping for. The noodles were really good and I really enjoyed the sauce. We also got a couple of drinks. I got a blueberry cider that I don’t remember the name of but it was SO good!To top it off, our server (I don’t remember his name sorry!) was so nice. He was talking to a lot of the other customers and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t know if he was the owner but he was great.Definitely a cute spot with great food and drinks, we’ll be back!

I ducked into Highside for a late lunch with my family, and we had a blast. The beer selection was great as was the service. But, by far the best part was the food. The fried chicken sandwich was the best I've had in my life, no joke. We also enjoyed the edamame, three cup chicken wings, and the beef pancake wrap. Oh, and the pot stickers. You cannot go wrong!!!

Service was great but the food was way, way overpriced and portions micro. Beer selection was good though. The food was so bland and tasteless and really shouldn't call itself fusion or Asian at that. All the Food really tasted like it came from the Costco frozen food Asian selection fridge. Seriously way overpriced and small

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It's been on my list for a while now and finally got the chance to try it out. It's very modern and clean, I enjoyed the beer, tornado fries, bao buns, and chicken sandwich! The bao buns are pricey but I liked the shrimp one the most. I loved the vibe here, very laid back and great place to work or catch up with friends. Our server was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.
