I couldn't recommend this place more, it's easily some of the best mexican/salvadoran food I've had on this coast. The food is super flavorful and the portions are big. The carnitas are a favorite of mine. Margs are great, service is great, and honestly the atmosphere is great in a hole-in-the-wall way (the best way).

This is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. In general, the further east you get in the US, the lower the quality and quantity of good Mexican food. This place offers a good variety or “classic Mexican food” staples like combination meals and a variety of different options that are somewhat different than what you see closer to Texas. Would this get 4 stars in Texas? Maybe not, but its not in Texas so it’s good for a quick bite and prices are good.
