Little Peru Peruvian Style Chicken

I use to come here daily until the cheap owner started skimping me on rice. I also found a hair in my food, which I showed him but he simply did not care. I have never ever been charged for sauce, this is the first “peruvian” chicken place that charged me for sauce. Overall it’s not worth it, not even sure if this place is actually halal or not considering the owners cheap tactics.

Food is absolutely exceptional here. I have traveled a lot in my professional career and never had chicken made so deliciously. Atmosphere is great and service as well, just a small building is only problem. It’s not even a problem really, can just use more room. Great place to get your lunch while working.

A quaint little place hidden in a neighborhood plaza, well accessible to those in the Fairfax and even Centreville areas, Little Peru Peruvian Chicken might not look like much on the surface but turns out its actually quite a nice restaurant! The chicken is tastily roasted while a variety of sides are available to any hungry eaters. Prices too are quite reasonable. I'd recommend this location to locals who want Peruvian chicken in the area.

The atmosphere isn't really important here, it's the food. If you want good Peruvian food you have got to give this pla e a shot, moist chicken not burnt quality sides.

Nothing beats the little hole in the wall places! I've been looking for a new restaurant that sells good Lomo Saltado and I think I've finally found it. The portions are generous, the meat, fries and onions are so flavorful in the sauce, the rice isn't just plain rice either! It was the perfect balance of salty, umami, and starchy with the seasonings they use in the sauce and on the meat. I'm marking this place down as a favorite and will be returning again!

Great food and portions. Chicken was juicy and well seasoned (not underwhelming or too salty). Got the yuca and cucumber salad. Salad was fresh and well marinated. And the portions of the sides were large. Fyi… don’t under estimate their green sauce.

We’re out of town guests and make sure we always visit Little Peru. Today was a particularly odd encounter — we ordered 4 entrees, and to our surprise, not only were their famous green and yellow sauces missing, but we found two strands of hair in two separate entrees! Two out of four! We called the restaurant, and while the woman offered to remake the items for us, we were so annoyed that she: a) made us show her the hair when we brought the food back (which we did, but we have dark hair and found blond hair); and b) responded with “it happens”. Woman. It HAPPENED. Not sure what’s happened with the quality of this place, but we were thoroughly disappointed with the visit. QA needs to make a comeback because I can’t be driving back and forth to get my food remade.

ALSO, one of the entrees we picked up the second time was missing an ENTIRE piece of chicken! So not only did we waste time and energy, but we were at a net loss. If anyone has alternative delicious Peruvian chicken restaurant recommendations, we’ll gladly hear them.
