Very cool spot! I am from New Orleans originally and this spot reminds me of home. Chill vibes, friendly service, and live music. I will go back!

This is a great venue, a cozy interior with lots of outdoor seating as well. The bar serves great cocktails. Josh, the owner, is warm, hospitable, and so much fun. We recently had our high school reunion there, and he made sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend checking this place out!

So much fun! 💃 Mackenzie’s Tunes & Tonics has amazing live music, great drinks, and such a good vibe. The cocktails were delicious (and cute 😍), and the staff was super friendly. Perfect spot for a girls’ night out or just vibing to good tunes with friends. Can’t wait to go back! 🎤🍹✨

We were recommended to visit from a mutual friend of the owner and I had never heard of this place before, but SO glad that I took him up on the recommendation! We happened to come on a evening that the Singer and Songwriters guild was holding an open mic night. While the actual music ranged from not too good to pretty decent, the real star of the show was the food and drinks! The food was AMAZING and the bar also had quite a number of beers from a tap takeover from a Sojourn Fermentory, which ranged from light to dark and all delicious. This restaurant (venue) is small but cozy. There is a lot of seating packed into this small place but mostly 3 - 4 person high-top tables with some hybrid booths and seating around the perimeter. The owner is extremely welcoming and as attentive as he can be (given that he is running most or all of the services himself including the bar). We will certainly be going back again and welcome you to check there information for what musicians will be there as they try to have music most of the time.

talk about a hidden gem!! located in the heart of old town fairfax, this little spot it so much bigger than the 4 walls it resides in. the service is impeccable, with experienced servers/bartenders who know how to guide you through the menu. we had the chicken dumplings and the asian pulled pork sandwich, and the only reason why we didnt double up on the order was because we were so full!! so much flavor in every bite!!!! please stop by this amazing spot and enjoy everything!!!

Open mic night was great! Awesome food (brussel sprouts and bang bang shrimp) and cocktails (whisky smash) with a fantastic atmosphere.

Food was like upscale bar food. We had a smash burger and spaghetti. Not mindblowing, but good and tasted a little homemade. The old fashioned was just ok. The service was amazing though and we enjoyed the live music.

Came down from Baltimore for a soccer game. Game got canceled and we stopped in here for dinner. Josh the owner was so welcoming… the food outstanding and the girls singing sounded beautiful. So happy we found this place.
