Huge selection of whiskey and bourbon and great cocktails as well. I had a sip of my Bourbon, and I liked it, but I'm not a fan of the oak barrels, so I had the bartender make me cocktail. You made me a simple whiskey sour but it was the best thing ever because he used all fresh juices.

Best mixed-green salad in years. Warm setting with two-story bookcases of bottles. TV is secondary here, thankfully, with one posted on the side, like the old days. Manager is too stern; seems to focus on operations and beverage-design rather than putting his staff at ease, which then help customers enjoy their night.

Beautiful place. I asked to see what their martini skills were. Unfortunately it tasted like tang. Everyone was friendly, service was soso, but ambiance was excellent. Will come back and have dinner to give them a chance.

Chill spot with a happy hour menu and lots of whiskey choices, but not every brand. The tab can get very high very quickly. Suggest parking in the nearby Market garage.

Great place to visit! Has a wonderful selection of whiskey! Our bartender, Amanda, was wonderful! Definitely recommend coming, grabbing a few drinks and apps!

Always a good time here. I get to sample different bourbon I've been considering buying. Pricing is fair and the service is always good. They normally have some good barrel picks as well.

Five stars for atmosphere and service, from that perspective, it's a really nice place to go. This is what brings it to a three star for me.

However, six drinks over two visits and we've concluded that they don't actually know how to make a good drink. Every single one has been poorly made and disappointing. If they could address that, it would be a five-star bar.

Food, service & atmosphere are great. But as a bar that prides itself on its drinks the choice to cheap out and use generic store brand mixers is mind blowing. More importantly it ruins mixed drinks.

In response to the below comment: I wasn't confused. Staff clearly use supermarket brand tonic water in the G&T's. If I'm ordering top brand gin I'm happy to pay for top brand tonic such as Fever Tree...

Great service by Amanda the bartender; wonderful cocktails. This place is a nice vibe and the prices are really good compared to DC cocktail bars. The iPad menus are a nice touch and the lance is designed really well. I didn’t dive in but they have a massive selection of spirits. Great spot for a solo trip, date or even hanging with friends. Well done.

Drove 45 min to come down here only to find it closed during what Google Maps listed as being well within their business hours.

Thankfully the business hours listed on Google Maps miraculously changed within an hour of my review.

Appetizers were not. Onion soup was sweet and scotch eggs were peppery but little other flavor. Guiness stew had nice pastry but two servings were barely warm served in cold bowls. The steak frites was okay but mainly because of the fries. Server was polite but that didn’t make up for the poor quality food. Would not recommend other to enjoy wide selection of whiskey

Lovely drinks here at decent prices with a large variety of selections. The food isn't my favorite which brings it down a star, but everything else is a vibe.
