Mazadar Restaurant is a really good spot for flavorful Middle Eastern food! The dishes are fresh and tasty, and there’s a lot of variety to choose from. The vibe is casual and comfortable, and the staff is friendly, though it got a little busy when I went. Overall, a solid place for a nice meal, and I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but unfortunately that’s the only positive thing I can say about it—hence the 2-star rating, entirely for the interior design. We went for lunch and left very disappointed. Although our server was new and genuinely tried her best, the owner/chef showed a real lack of customer service.
We ordered hummus and an eggplant dip as appetizers. I asked if a little olive oil could be added on top of the hummus, since that’s how I prefer it. A few minutes later, the owner came out to tell me that she would not add olive oil because it wasn’t part of her hummus recipe. She even refused to bring olive oil on the side, simply because she didn’t like it served that way. I didn’t see the issue, but I let it go.
The food itself was bland, though we didn’t complain. I had read in a review that the baklava was amazing, so I decided to try it—but it was dry, and the saffron ice cream on top was frozen solid with ice crystals. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.
To top it off, they added an 18% service charge to the bill for just two people. It felt like they assumed we wouldn’t leave a tip because we were clearly unhappy. It’s a shame!!!

Firstly the decor is so well done that I walked past the halal sign and asked the owner if the food was halal😩. I honestly did not notice the sign as my eyes kept on wandering to the different parts of the restaurant. I have never been to a halal restaurant that has a whole FOUNTAIN inside and dont even get me started on how beautiful the plates and how stylish the interior is.
Now on to the food, I LOVED the stuffed grape leaves and the eggplant appetizers. I dont mess with grape leaves too much as they can be very sour HOWEVER the ones I had here were the perfect amount of flavor and sourness. The eggplants were my favorite it was so flavorful and just a 10/10 experience. My friend and I ordered the lamb karahi and Qabli. I loved the lamb karahi it was tender and flavorful, the Qabli wasnt my favorite but overall I liked the restaurant. The owner Aida ( sorry for the misspelling 😩) was so kind and chill. Cant wait to go back💃💃

A Delicious First Visit to Mazador — We’ll Be Back!
We recently visited Mazador for the first time and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. To begin, we ordered the meat mantu appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. It set the tone for the rest of the meal.
For our mains, we tried both the chicken Slouvaki plate and the chicken Slouvaki wrap. The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Everything tasted homemade, thoughtfully seasoned, and beautifully presented. It's clear the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve.
The service was also a standout—attentive, professional, and warm without being overbearing. The staff made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our visit.
The atmosphere at Mazador is inviting and stylish, perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual night out. We also loved that the menu included selections from Have A Bite, Ida’s other restaurant that recently closed. It was a wonderful touch and a great way to keep some of those beloved dishes available.
Overall, our experience at Mazador was excellent. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance made for a perfect dining experience. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

We love Mazadar. The Kubideh and Chicken is especially tender, juicy, and full of flavor! The manager is always so sweet. Our kids love the food here, as well. We come here often. You won’t be disappointed. The Kabuli Palao is also very delicious. Her teas are great too! You won’t be disappointed!

Reason for one star on food is I ordered the Afghani Qabili, but unfortunately, it didn’t taste like authentic Qabili at all. It seemed to carry the name, but not the flavor, texture, or aroma traditionally associated with this dish. While the portion was enough to fill the stomach, it fell short of the true Qabili experience.
So if your real Qabili lover is i don't recommend this place

This was an AMAZING place!! The food and service was outstanding and we found out there that there were cool tea party’s from 2-6 that we are DEFINITELY coming back for.
Sravya was so helpful!! She was amazing and when I left my credit card, she chased us outside to make sure we got it back.
Definitely worth the drive!!

Outstanding Food & Exceptional Service – A True Gem!
Mazadar Restaurant has quickly become one of my go-to favorites for both lunch and dinner. The food is consistently flavorful, comforting, and has that special home-cooked feel that’s hard to find these days. Every dish I’ve ordered has been nothing short of delicious — a true showcase of thoughtful, authentic cooking that satisfies on every level.
The service is exceptional, with Ms. Ida going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels like part of the family. Her warmth and hospitality are unmatched, making every visit feel personal and welcoming.
I recently hosted a staff luncheon here, and the experience was seamless. The food came out promptly, perfectly timed for our group, and the service was pristine. I also frequently stop in for lunch, and each time, the quality and consistency are spot-on.
One of my personal favorites is Ms. Ida’s special blend black tea — it always hits the spot and adds a perfect touch to any meal.
I highly recommend Mazadar for both lunch and dinner. Whether you're dining solo or with a group, you won’t be disappointed. It’s comfort food done right, with service that makes you feel right at home.
