Our server Kenneth V. was absolutely wonderful! He was very attentive, kind, and sweet. He really made our evening better. He was also a bit of a jokester, which added a fun touch to our dinner and kept us laughing.
Kenneth made sure we were well taken care of the whole time and kept our area clean throughout dinner. We had a great time and ate very well! This was my second time coming to this location and once again, the service was amazing.
Thank you, Kenneth!

Warning: Not kid-friendly and extremely slow service

I took my family to this restaurant and brought my 2.5-year-old son with me. Shockingly, they charged $20 for my son, even though on our previous visit, they didn’t charge anything. This time, they claimed that because he could walk and run, he should be charged. There was no clear policy about age or height — just ā€œif your kid can run, we’ll charge you.ā€ That makes no sense at all.

Think about it: adults pay $35, and they charge $20 for a toddler who only ate a few bites of rice and egg. Totally unreasonable.

The service was painfully slow. Every time we ordered, it took at least 5 minutes for the food to arrive. I started to wonder if it’s their strategy to slow down service so customers get full faster and they save costs. Both times I visited, it was the same — even during lunch with only three tables occupied and two servers working. There’s no excuse for such a long wait.

I suggest if you go, tell the server not to grill for you — just bring the food quickly so you can do it yourself. Or better yet, go to another branch. The service there is much faster.

To be fair, the taste of the food is excellent — I’d give it 9 out of 10. But I won’t be returning because the pricing and service are just unacceptable.

For example, I ordered both the Galbi and Pork Belly at the same time, but they only brought the Pork Belly first. Then they waited until I almost finished grilling and eating that before bringing the Galbi. This happened every time — they never served both at once. It’s extremely frustrating and wastes so much time.

I hope the owner sees this and seriously improves the service speed and makes the child pricing policy clear and fair.

One star — only because the food tastes great. Everything else is a mess.

Everything was ok except ėœģž„ģ°Œź°œ was too small and not much ingredients ( tofu and vegetables) not hot enough .
some side dishes were too sweet. Kimchi was very tasty
Meat quality and portions were great.
I will go back again

Overall, my go to Korean BBQ Place. For around $38 it's AYCE and has a good variety of meat selections as well as seafood.

Pros: AYCE, Good Value, Solid selection with good seafood, overall good time

Cons: Wait can be long, service can be slow, sometimes certain meats (Ribeye) are not tender

Meat Project in Centreville has been my go-to KBBQ spot for years, so I was excited to try this new location. The meat here is juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. There’s a great variety to choose from, but my personal favorites are the bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, galbi, and the steamed egg. It's delicious.

Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. The interior decor is also clean and stylish, adding to the welcoming vibe. Overall, I absolutely love this place and will definitely be coming back!

If there were a referral program, I’d probably be racking up rewards by now! This is hands down one of my favorite KBBQ spots, and I always bring friends whether they’re longtime KBBQ fans or trying it for the first time. The service is consistently solid, and the staff is always warm and welcoming.

One thing I really love: they serve Soon Hari yogurt soju. It's my personal favorite and one of the best flavors out there. Not many places in the area carry it, so it’s a big plus for me.

As for the food, I always start and end with the brisket—it never disappoints. Their marinated meats are full of flavor, but my absolute favorite item is the honey butter squid. I could honestly eat four servings of it in one visit, no shame!

My only real issue is the lack of a reservation system. You can get on the waitlist around the time you want to go, which helps, but not being able to reserve a table, especially on busy weekends, can be a little frustrating when you’re going with a small group.
