Delicious, very affordable fresh knife cut noodles in 99 ranch market. #D5 Noodles with dumplings are less than $10 and plain noodle soup is $7. Spicy soup complimentary. Plenty of noodles too!?
I loved the delicious Cumin Toothpick Lamb 金牌串烧羊肉 and Beef La Mian 牛肉拉面 (I was reheating the clear broth that they’d packed separately when I snapped this photo) from Mian Pull Noodles at 99 Ranch Market 大華超級市場. This is my favorite spot for Beef La Mian.
I’ve tried pretty much all Lanzhou lamian around DMV area and found this one just ok... I would give Lamian for three stars and one more star for the pork bun (Rou Jia mo). The pork bun was honestly better than the noodles. The noodle soup tastes exactly like pho, which is not Chinese at all... noodles itself are good, but what’s the point of the Lanzhou Lamian if soup is not tasty. I am still looking for the most authentic Lanzhou lamian place around the area. I don’t know...
