How is this spot not busy all the time? This is a hidden gem - if I lived closer I would be here all the time. Plenty of seating - great food - I loved the Sangria. Come see it before people realize what they are missing!

First: omg, the food was freaking amazing. The corn was incredible and I was sad I didn’t order more. The wings were delicious. My husband inhaled the cobbler. Second: We ordered via DoorDash and there was a mix up where part of our order was left behind. The owner himself delivered the rest of our order with an apology, which was so unnecessary because I understand things happen. Would absolutely recommend and looking forward to returning. Thank you!

If you’re craving the juiciest, most flavorful wings in Fairfax, look no further than Mulligans Pub on the Green. Their Buffalo wings are a standout—plump, crispy, and drenched in a tangy, spicy sauce that hits all the right notes. For those seeking a sweet and spicy twist, the Sweet and Tangy Asian wings offer a delightful balance of flavors. Whether you’re a wing aficionado or just looking for a satisfying meal, Mulligans delivers on all fronts.

Love this place, however a bit dated, so upgrades would do well here. Staff is terrific. the food was pretty good. The prime rib was a bit overdone.

We contacted Don for our son’s first birthday in a pinch. The team was extremely accommodating of us! They were flexible on the time, the minimum hours, and helped us design the perfect menu for our son’s first birthday! The space was a great size with good lighting. They allowed us to come a little early to set up too! We had a great time, and I would 10/10 recommend reaching out to them for your next event.

My family and I are in town for a long weekend so we came here for dinner last night. It was a cold, rainy Friday night, and when we got there at 6 it was basically empty aside from the beginning of an older persons birthday party. Shortly after we sat down, the live “music” started and we wished it hadn’t. They were so bad most of the time the song they were playing was unrecognizable until over halfway through, even when it was a song we liked.

The kids ordered grilled cheese and pizza. My husband ordered a crab cake with fries. I ordered the Maryland crab soup to start and steamed mussels. The kids liked their food and my husband said his crab cake was pretty good. My Maryland crab soup was not what I was expecting… it wasn’t like any other Maryland crab soup I’ve ever had. It was more like a thick crab stew and although it tasted ok aside from being a little too salty, it wasn’t what I wanted. The hush puppies that came with it however tasted fantastic; unfortunately they were completely raw/uncooked inside. The mussels I ordered looked and smelled fantastic, but tasted just ok. They were filled with so much grit, some the size of small pebbles, that it was unpleasant to eat, and several weren’t open (so I obviously didn’t eat them) and shouldn’t have been served. They weren’t bad, just could have been better if cleaned better.

Overall, I think we all agreed the best thing there was the fries, which were really good. The overall experience I’d probably give a 3.5

The dollar wings on the weekend are amazing. They are not the puny ones they are good size and they have good flavor. The service is very slow but the servers are very pleasant and nice. If they could only get the kitchen to work and have a great establishment.

Nestled in a charming corner, the pub boasts a tidy interior that exudes a well-maintained vibe. The outside seating area is particularly inviting, offering a delightful spot for enjoying drinks and conversation on sunny days.

However, the culinary experience left much to be desired. I opted for the Chorizo Hoagie, anticipating a flavorful treat. Unfortunately, what arrived was a disappointment. The chorizo felt overcooked, lacking the juicy tenderness expected of this dish. Additionally, I ordered steak fries but received shoestring fries instead. And let me tell you, its hard to mess up fries, but these fries were not pleasant. When I queried the waiter, I was informed they had run out of steak fries after my order was placed. This explanation struck me as odd and somewhat evasive, bordering on a lack of accountability rather than a genuine apology. It's a minor detail, but it left a somewhat disconcerting impression, implying a slight sense of dishonesty.

Overall, while the pub's ambiance and outdoor seating are commendable, the inconsistent food quality and the peculiar incident with the fries detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable dining experience. For those prioritizing ambiance over culinary perfection, this pub remains a decent choice and price.

Service can be slow because of crowds but food is worth the wait. Laid back atmosphere with beautiful views of golf course. The staff is wonderful. Drinks are reasonably priced. Homemade peach cobbler is divine.
