Donkatu is good. My picky eater daughter finished the whole plate. If you miss old Korean style don kka ss sauce, they have it. I also had Jjambbong kalkooksoo. It was ok to good. I wish more seafood or bigger seafood pieces in there. Price is ok. Before I eat here, I went to the thrift store in the same plaza. Walk all the way straight from the restaurant. They have great selection of home decorations and set of plates.

I ordered a tuna gimbap which was recommended. It was delicious and crave-worthy- if only they were located in Arlington I would come often! It came with “soup,” which was a tasty broth. There was a steady stream of people getting takeout and tables were pretty full as well. Service was very quick. I will be back!

Ate the bulgogi rice, ddukbokki with cheese, and the fried chicken. All of it was fantastic! Dishes are served with a variety of pickles and kimchi. The ddukbokki with cheese was perfect, and even though my nose was running the whole time it wasn't as spicy as I had been led to believe. The bulgogi rice and fried chicken were also delicious, esp if you like your savory dishes a little on the sweet side. My bf did not like the sweetness of the bulgogi, but I loved it! Giant portions.

On my visit, I tried the tuna kimbap and the seafood dolsot bibimbap, both were fantastic! The vibe is super casual and welcoming and the service was fabulous. I highly suggest going with an appetite because the portions are definitely a good size.

Found out through tiktok this restaurant serves many Korean dishes including hand rolled kimbap. The gentleman that took my order was so kind and understanding, I have a fish allergy so I could not have the fish cake and crab stick that normally comes in kimbap. He was able to customize my order, I will be back to get my kimbap fix, it was very tasty.
