The pizza was sub par (below Domino's and PJ's). The pizza tasted like Domino's on a very bad day. There really was nothing special about it and everything tasted like it had bad/poor quality ingredients, from the cheese, sauce, toppings, including the cardboard crust. The Caesar salad came with hardly any caesar dressing; it was literally lettuce, some parmesan cheese, and a few croutons. The buffalo wings were dry and did not have any buffalo sauce. We ordered because it was restaurant week, so I was trying to support our local restaurants, but c'mon you have got to do better than that to earn my business. I have to question Fairfax City Patch's recommendation here. The only thing good I can say about this place is that they offer pizza by the slice. But after my families miserable dinner, I don't think I'm coming back for a slice.

The crust and sauce are unbelievable and made even better by the place being packed with gorgeous firemen, muscular cops, and beautiful Asian queens ?

I am delighted to have discovered the Fairfax City Old Dominion Pizza location on University Drive. I have been to the Arlington location a few times, worth the nine-mile drive from Vienna. The convenience of this location and ample garage parking will make me a regular here. ODP, in my opinion and experience, makes top-quality pie using premium-quality fresh ingredients crafted with intention by serious pizza makers. The restaurant is spacious for dining in and meticulously clean. The staff and owner are friendly and helpful.

Really good pizza in a cute and casual atmosphere. Kid-friendly and $5 beer on tap which is always appreciated in this area. Like that they do by the slice, personal, and larger pizzas.Kid-friendliness: Had multiple high chairs and offered to bring out our 2 year old's slice sooner for him and sliced it up smaller for him.

The restaurant and kitchen is kept clean and organized. Very good prices, I got lunch with a drink for less than 10 dollars. I ordered a pepperoni grandma style slice, huge size rectangle slice, and did a subjective assessment of their pizza. First, they use the good quality pepperoni, not the usual cysco stuff at all. The cheese was also good quality cheese, not greasy and a good amount of cheese. The crust was thick and had a good taste. I also liked the taste of their pizza sauce. Not enough sauce for my taste, but when I told them, they said I can just ask them to make me a slice with more sauce next time I eat there, and that completely sold me. A pizza by the slice place offering to make a custom slice for one customer is great service. They also have real silverware for people that eat in, I liked that. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of their pizza.

I love the gluten free crust. The ingredients are the healthiest I have seen for people who are sensitive to where they eat out. Eat here , if healthy ingredients are important to you.
