This WAS my favorite Fairfax restaurant and I frequented it fairly often UNTIL June. I ordered my dinner and a black hair was in the butter sauce on my entree. I sent it back promptly and was told it would be about 15 minutes before I received a replacement. That was no problem and I asked the rest of our guests to please go ahead and eat. When my second plate was presented I was horrified. On the rim of the plate was another black hair. The server noticed it when he saw my reaction and asked what he could do. I asked for my meal to be taken off the bill and that we would like the bill ASAP. Since it was my birthday, the server said he had creme brûlée ready to warmed for my dessert. I said the I was sorry but I just wanted to leave. After this experience I am not sure I will be returning as a customer. It makes me very sad because they have wonderful hors douerves and interesting entrees. I spoke to the owner several days later and feel he is more interested in another restaurant he owns and Fairfax is a lower priority. This conversation was really a disappointment since I had always hoped they would be successful.

My friend and I stopped by to have a drink and disconnect a bit on this beautiful Saturday. We sat on the patio in the most beautiful weather. Our server XR made our night. With his excellent customer service, and knowledge of the menu we had the best time thanks to him. Are a fresh salad, garlic shrimp, and mini quiche potato omelette was delicious. Plus the Moscow mule and classic marg for the night. Definitely coming back.

The store front is deceiving but park in the parking garage and give this place a try. We went for happy hour and so many drinks for $6.50 and a large tapas menu for those who love tasting everything but don't want a whole meal. The inside is nice and a little soft jazz playing. We tried the silders, garlic shrimp, pork bun, tuna tartar, and they were all delicious little trays of art and loved them all! Excellent service and vibe.

I had a fantastic experience at One Bar & Grill in Fairfax! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming—stylish yet relaxed. It’s the perfect spot for a casual night out or a slightly more upscale dinner with friends.
The tapas-style menu was a pleasant surprise. We tried the pork belly appetizer, which was rich and flavorful, and the crab & shrimp cakes were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. Every dish was beautifully presented, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. While some portions were a bit small, the quality and taste made up for it.
Overall, One Bar & Grill offers excellent service, creative food, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in the Fairfax area!

Really enjoyed our dinner at One Bar & Grill. The food was outstanding. We decided to have a tapas only dinner and ordered 8 of the around 30 tapas selections. It was fun to mix and match, and every one of them was delicious. Made for a fun meal, and we can't wait to do it again with the other 22 we haven't tried yet! Service was great and the drinks were excellent. We'll done!

First time there, and I was surprised by all the tapas choices. Not looking for a large meal, I ordered the diced ahi tuna/wasabi/arugula plate - delightful! It was served with two pieces of toast and an aioli sauce. If I had been hungrier, I would have had a second choice. Very creative meal.

A great choice for dinner or a first date. The food is truly delicious. Make sure to try the tapas options—my favorites are the Beef Sliders, Ahi Tuna, and Flank Steak. For main courses, I highly recommend the Roasted Half Duck and Shrimp Scampi. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely divine. Highly recommend their tapas. High quality, every bite is sensational! The attention to detail in each ingredient comes together perfectly! Had the bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese, sriracha cauliflower bites, and the Cuban style roasted pork, ham, pepper jack cheese bites. 10/10. Excellent service as well. We will be back!
