Fantastic food! Had the tapas and really enjoyed the short rib, hummus, burrata, and bacon wrapped dates. The presentation was great. Comfortable, contemporary atmosphere. Our server was Anis and he was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Had a really lovely experience here with my partner. We each had a cocktail and shared a bottle of wine. We ate the hummus, beet salad, house salad, and tropical shrimp as our apps. Our main were the lamb ossobuco and the burger. Everything was lovely, and all of the recommendations were provided by our server, Anis, who was fantastic! Highly recommend this as a great date night spot!

First time, and I'm impressed!
I had my first visit to One Bar & Grill last night, and I’m already planning my next trip! I decided to treat myself to their Ribeye Steak, and wow, it was phenomenal. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the herb potato wedges were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The grilled squash added a nice touch, and the garlic butter glaze tied it all together. So good!
I started off with their House Greens, which were super fresh and light—exactly what I needed. The granny smith apple slices gave a nice crunch, and the vinaigrette was just the right balance of tangy and sweet.
But the Island Shrimp was the real star of the night. The jumbo shrimp had that perfect char from the grill, and the pineapple chili relish was a sweet and spicy burst of flavor. Such a great combo!
Service was also friendly and fast. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in Fairfax!

Great dining experience at the One Bar and Grill tonight. I selected several of the tapas and they were all fabulous. The Watermelon salad with feta was so good: juicy watermelon with the salty feta and peppery dressing and a crunchy thin cracker on top. Bacon wrapped dates with Goat Cheese and Pecans was also delicious. The bacon was crunchy not soggy. Island Shrimp with Pineapple Relish - grilled shrimp beautifully garnished. The service was attentive and friendly. You should try this place. I will definitely come back.

Upscale-casual for a “Bar & Grill” with a terrific bar and superb kitchen! We enjoyed dinner tonight on a short notice reservation, and caught their restaurant week menu as well. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in, and enjoyed a fine casual dinner guided by our waiter Anis for each course. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu and cocktail offerings!
Parking: Downtown Fairfax has plenty of free parking within a block or two of the restaurant.
