Okay Panera, once again you charged high prices for pathetic salads and drinks. Your Strawberry Banana Smoothie was nothing a tiny cup of foam from over blending. Very unfair for over $7.00. I would strongly recommend that everyone go elsewhere to eat. This is numerous tries at giving them a chance and they are a joke in terms value to what you spent.

The lady behind the counter messed up our order and refused to fix it. Insisted she gave us an upgrade. We ordered a 20oz and 16oz drink. Insisted we got two 20oz when the cup clearly says 16oz. I added extra expresso shots and I know she didn’t add them. My husband tried telling her but she didn’t speak English and heard her telling her coworker she messed up, she didn’t realize my husband also speaks Spanish, once she realized this she didn’t own up to her mistake. We were in a bit of a rush and her stance was she did it right and wouldn’t fix it. Subpar service, if my husband couldn’t speak Spanish what then? The manager on site was not useful either. The service ruined the experience and the food was subpar.

There is an old guy in cashier with glasses, he think he is president!! He act like a president. Man if you are working in restaurants you have smile for all customers. Not choosing!!! If you can’t work go to construction. People need your face there!!!

I placed an order for a salad but received a sandwich instead. When I returned to the counter to inquire about the mix-up, I realized that I had mistakenly ordered a sandwich item. I actually wanted a salad. The manager was very understanding and corrected the order without making me feel bad about the error. I truly appreciated the excellent customer service. Thank you for going above and beyond, especially given that it was my mistake! 💕💕

Panera is one of our favorite places for lunch, a lot of light and healthy options if you are watching what you eat, for some reason, this store takes a long time preparing the meals.

I really try to not review restaurants but this is ridiculous. If I could give a 1/10th star I would.

Apparently Panera in Fairfax believes it perfectly alright to mess up delivery orders over and over and still get paid.

Whoever the owner is, they must be the greediest person in Faifax County Virginia. He/she should lose his/her franchise license for hiring people who go out of their way to mess up orders.

This place has the worst management and food prep staff in town. If I could order from ANY other Panera from my app, I would and I would not look back.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant for several years and within the last year or so I can easily say every delivery is wrong. All of them… and I always order a chicken Cesar salad. It’s mind numbing how they screw up a simple salad. I’m well beyond expecting any level of hope in refunds, correct orders sent back out, or the ability to order delivery from any of the other Panera restaurants surrounding my home.

This time I asked for romaine. So the prep person called me on my cellphone and asked if I wanted all romaine or a mix with iceberg lettuce. I said the mix of both is fine. They sent neither romaine nor iceberg lettuces. It’s mixed greens. I ordered at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon so they weren’t busy and besides… they literally called me on the phone.

What type person calls to clarify what you want on your order and then sends something completely different. Someone who sent lettuce that was not even spoken of. Just unilaterally decided to randomly select a lettuce.

My warning to everyone is don’t order pick up or delivery. You need to stand directly over the person preparing your food because if you don’t they will reach for whatever is closest to their hand and give it to you. You will need to point at each object you wish to purchase because the prep person doesn’t know the difference between food options.

I’m fairly sure the person fulfilling orders cannot read and I know they certainly do not care.

This is based on the Mediterranean veggie sandwich. It's bad, really really bad because of the bread, which tastes like white flour. It's tough and has no flavor. You can get better bread from the grocery store. I asked for no cheese and all I got was a very thin smear of hummus. Definitely not going back for a bread sandwich. And what's on the side? Bread! Because there wasn't enough awful tasteless bread to begin with. Worst sandwich ever, and I've been to Subway!

TLDR: Not worth it, complete pass.

You have to always check each item in the pick up order process before you leave. Like open each item individually to check the ingredients are all there. They seem to have a hard time building the menu items.

Edit: they also don’t follow the corporate policy to donate all pastries daily. They dump old pastries into carry out/online orders. Two pastries, both completely stale.

If you want to avoid the frustration of spending your good money for getting horrible food and incorrect items, after also spending the time driving back and forth to save on the ~15$ delivery extras, then just don’t bother ordering things here. Maybe there’s better luck in person for dine in, but can’t say. I won’t try again.

This cafe needs more power outlets. Now I'm not smart enough to know how to make that happen but I know they have 3 wall outlets and that's not enough for a cafe of this size
