The best banh mi sandwich you will find, the bread is baked fresh on premises. All the ingredients are fresh. This is only one of two Pho restaurants in the country that has pipping hot stone bowl, the other one is 3K miles away. Try the vegetable Pho, there is nothing like it anywhere, absolutely amazing, you need to request it. The chicken Pho is the best you will find. Everything on the menu is great. The owner is there to greet customers. The staff is absolutely the best.

This is my favorite pho spot in Fairfax right now, the owner is a very nice guy. He works in there himself, 7 days a week to ensure high quality broth & smooth operations. They pay attention to detail. The broth is flavorful & quite enjoyable. I usually get the chicken broth, which tastes great. Also they have some specialty desserts, which I recommend trying. My favorite is the Coconut Egg Coffee but be careful because it is very strong stuff, it definitely gets you going.

I’m very happy with the food, but not the service. The guy with the cross earrings was extremely rude to us. We were a large group and asked if we could connect two tables, but he refused, saying, “It will be hard for you guys to go to the restroom.” Throughout the meal, he gave us a very bad attitude—rolling his eyes, not smiling, and showing no friendliness at all.

At the end, we loved the bread so much that we asked if we could order some to go. He responded with the same attitude and said, “We don’t sell bread by itself.” That’s fine if it’s the policy, but there are definitely better ways to say no to a customer.

When we tried to order the bánh mì chảo, one person in our group couldn’t eat eggs and asked if the egg could be removed and substituted with something else. The server gave us an annoyed look and said, “You can order the regular bánh mì, it’s still the same…” But that’s not the point—it’s not about whether the regular bánh mì has the same ingredients or not, it’s about the experience of how you eat the dish.

He constantly pushed back on everything we asked for. In all my experiences dining at restaurants, I’ve never encountered someone like that. I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I felt so disappointed that I had to speak up—for the sake of the restaurant’s future.

We absolutely loved the food, but we’ll be staying away from the restaurant for a while—hopefully giving the staff some time to gain more customer service experience before we return for better service.

This pho place seems pretty popular even though it is relatively new. They have interesting menu items that are not seen at other pho places. They have the banh mi which is the Vietnamese sandwich. They bake their own bread here. It is slightly bigger and fluffier than your typical French baguette. It is crunchy on the outside fluffy and soft on the inside like other reviewers have indicated. Quite interesting and good but not your typical baguette as stated. This bread is not as dense as the French baguette but it is very good. We also like the fact that they have a grilled sizzling breakfast platter (banh mi cha) which has two fried eggs with your choice of protein ranging from sausage, lemongrass beef, steak, pork belly. The taste of the plate was good but the lemongrass beef was a little bit sweet rather than savory. I would have preferred it to be more savory and less sweet. It comes with a big dollop of mayonnaise, side of pate which doesn't really taste like pate, and some pickled carrots and radish typical of what is inside of a banh mi. The stone bowl experience was pretty interesting. The noodles, steamed bean sprouts, raw onions, green onions, and raw steak is placed out on a plate . The broth is then brought out to you in a hot stone bowl. First you put all the ingredients (except the meat) on the plate into the broth so it can warm it up. The meat can be placed in this stone bowl with each bite, to avoid it being overcooked. The temperature of the broth stays really hot through the whole dining experience. For those who like to wait until their food goes down in temperature might not like this option. Because the soup is hot! The fried pork dumplings are pretty good. They have a very big selection of Vietnamese coffee in different flavors. This seems to be pretty unique and their featured item. We also got the cocktail fruit dessert. It is some jelly bits with tropical fruit, such as durian and lychee, crushed ice, coconut milk. It was pretty tasty.

I was visiting the Fairfax area for an acupuncture treatment and was really craving some Pho. I googled spots in the area and this was the first one that popped up for me.

I ordered a chicken Pho two with poached eggs. It was really really delicious! As an avid home cook, I have made my broth on my own before, and I can say that it appears as if this broth was made with a lot of love, which means roasting chicken bones with herbs, and spices until you get a light and layered broth.

If you are someone who is sensitive to loud music in restaurants, this is not the place for you, the music was quite loud, but the playlist was amazing. It was obvious that a millennial had the aux cord. Will return again.

Wow their banh mi is incredible and their lemongrass beef is among the best I have tasted in the area. Definitely a hidden gem.

Tried them because my normal place was full. So glad. The Thai Tea was perfect in that unlike most places it was not too sweet. The food came out fast, a manager came to ask if I was enjoying my meal, my server recommended a fish sauce to avoid mixing with my signature pho...I forgot to eat my divine meat and noodles because the broth was damn near the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their short but effective menu. I imagine they know it's about quality not quantity. This is a win!

The signature rolls were out of this world. We had the grilled chicken version, and they were very tasty balanced with an ample amount of vegetables and meat. Next, we had the spicy Pho; it was some of the most authentic and delicious version of the dish we’ve ever tried. This two came with an ample amount of meat, vegetables, and noodles.
We were traveling and found this place by accident, what an awesome experience it was. If you like Vietnamese food, this is the place to go.

The Pho, by all standards, stands out as one of the best I’ve had. Very fresh and clean ingredients and it’s the perfect temperature when served. Not over exaggerated with too many ingredients, subtle but yet pronounced as the richness of the broth speaks for itself. The TD signature rolls are also fresh, light and flavorful. I highly recommend this place.

One of the best banh mi spot!

We got the Banh Mi Chao (sizzling skillet combination) and it does have similar taste as the ones I had in Vietnam. For a reasonable price!

Loved the interior design too!

It is very clean and good taste
